Hi everyone!
After my previous post, this time I did some studies of male characters, still for my short film project ; in fact the story involves two characters, a little girl and her father.
So I was looking for a physical type for the father and the characters of Roger from 101 Dalmatians and Milo from Atlandide spoke to me a lot.
Roger is very nice, but rather clumsy and has this paradox of being very neat and at the same time very messy, which come from his artistic side.
Milo is actually very hard to draw. He's an extremely precise character, with a lot of detail. Such a level of detail for a character intended for traditional animation is quite impressive, given that the animators had to repeat these details on each drawing (12 to 24 per second, imagine that on a whole film).
But what I liked about both of them was this particular skull, which is actually quite pointed; it gives off a definite personality, I think it's often used for clever characters.
I hope you will like it!
See you soon for more.
Very nice! In terms of details, drawing Milo so many times in the movie itself.. very, very impressive work from those people 😃
Which is your favourite?

I'm more partial to Roger Radcliffe, he's quite touching :)
I really liked your studies, the important thing is the practice of drawing every day.
You're so right!
