In lockdown, I have got into making clay sculptings and studies of the human form.
I started this one with a plan to make a sort of Neolithic female figure art work however it ended being more true to form and less tribal/abstract.
Unfortunately, she lost a nipple in the drying process, as you can see in the top image.
A few months past and I had some clay left over so I decided to do clay sculpture of a back. Although I feel the spine is too thick I think the dimensions are not too bad.
Excellent quality on the clay forms, having failed miserably to make anything other then a blob out of play dough I appreciate how hard it can be to turn something like clay into a life like figure. I really love your crystal rock in the first photo though - it's begging to have a hole drilled in the back and a little led fed in so it lights up the inner purple.
Thank you so lovely for you to say! I am sure you are doing yourself a disservice there though ha ha!
The rock is an amethyst from Morocco, it does look lovely when the light hits it.
Nice quality! You could make some glasses or pen holders with these!
Oh wicked idea ever thought of turning them into something useful! I like an object with multiple uses
These are awesome!!
