Hello guys, welcome to my watercolor step-sharing post. I hope you'll enjoy it. π
This is one of my old watercolor paintings. I liked the atmosphere here especially the bread with the book. Feels like I can enjoy my quiet afternoon with books and the bread. Feasts for eyes and mind and stomach. π€£
I lost the sketch photo without any watercolor pigment on it. But I think you can still catch the line.
For this painting, I painted pure water on my paper once I finished the sketch line. Put watercolor on it while it still very wet. You don't want the paper too wet but you don't want it dry too, so you can get the Vague feeling.
For this part and the next few, I waited the paper dried out. And then I put watercolor on it. Careful when you paint, just follow the pencil line then you'll be fine. π
For this and the next photo, I wanted to add some clothes texture, so I apply pure water on my paper again. Be careful don't let water get into the book area, just apply to where the table clothes are. And then painting with watercolor. You'll want to use more pigment when you want the texture to look darker.
Painting the bread with orange, yellow, add some purple and red for the shadow.
I hope you enjoy this post. I'm sorry if my explanation is confusing, English is not my main language. But I'll try my best to explain so please let me know if you have questions! Thank you very much. π
Nice work !
Thank you ! π
