Feliz semana hiver’s / Good week hiver's
Oficialmente ya es 31 de octubre así que les quería mostrar mi último diseño con temática de Halloween por este año, me gustó bastante representar cosas típicas de esta bonita tradición que aunque no se suele celebrar en mi país natal siento curiosidad por saber más y más de ella, es parte de la cultura de otros países y que se fue adaptando poco a poco hasta llegar a lo que conocemos hoy en día como Halloween, bueno comencemos con este breve post.
Officially it's October 31st so I wanted to show you my last Halloween themed design for this year, I really liked to represent typical things of this beautiful tradition that although it is not usually celebrated in my native country I am curious to know more and more about it, it is part of the culture of other countries and that was adapted little by little to what we know today as Halloween, well let's start with this brief post.
Este dibujo es un caramelo de maíz, también conocido como maíz dulce y que es un caramelo típico de la festividad, así que dije: ¿Por qué no combinar el monstruo que más me gusta que es un zombie con este típico dulce?, dije ¡¡¡Wow!!! Quedaría genial algo así, el monstruo más conocido por las personas y este caramelo, de principio a fin quise hacerlo con la intención de dar algo de miedo asemejándose a lo descompuesto de un Zombie. Pero a su vez que también mantenga lo lindo que se suele ver un caramelo de maíz, así que puse manos a la obra e hice este diseño (pienso estamparlo en camisetas también: D)
This drawing is a candy corn, also known as sweet corn and that is a typical candy of the holiday, so I said: Why not combine the monster that I like the most that is a zombie with this typical candy, I said Wow! It would look great something like this, the monster most known by people and this candy, from beginning to end I wanted to do it with the intention of giving something scary resembling the decomposed of a Zombie. But at the same time I also wanted to keep how cute a candy corn usually looks, so I got to work and made this design (I plan to print it on T-shirts too :D).
Comencé este diseño con un boceto poco definido, ya que en sí fue un dibujo bastante rápido y agradable de hacer, luego con un rotulador failake doble punta para definir la forma del caramelo, seguido de hacer lo mismo con los ojos que a simple vista se pueden ver en lo que sería la característica mirada vacía de un muerto viviente, luego por la boca que parecía muy simple pero que con unos retoques de lápiz y marcador hicieron que parecían dientes afilados y sucios. Luego la parte más fácil fue colorear con lápiz 3B el resto del caramelo con sus respectivas tonalidades y con ayuda de tinta diluida hacer la semejanza de que está en estado de descomposición para que al final parezca un autentico zombie aquí abajo les dejo las fotografías.
I began this design with a little defined sketch, since in itself it was a pretty fast and pleasant drawing to do, then with a marker failake double tip to define the shape of the candy, followed by doing the same with the eyes that at first glance can be seen in what would be the characteristic empty look of a living dead, then by the mouth that seemed very simple but with a few touches of pencil and marker made it look like sharp and dirty teeth. Then the easiest part was to color with 3B pencil the rest of the candy with their respective shades and with the help of diluted ink to make the resemblance that it is in a state of decomposition so that at the end it looks like a real zombie here below I leave the photographs.
(Este efecto lo logré con Autodesk sketchbook, es parte de mis experimentos del color, aunque no sé trabajar muy bien con dibujo digital lo intento)

Y bueno queridos Hiver's eso fue todo por la temática de halloween de este año, la próxima temática que pienso hacer es navideña, y para eso falta 1 mes más, sin mas que decir me despido, hasta luego ;)
