Espero que con el titulo de la publicación no esté repetida, debido a que este no es mi primer dibujo sobre el personaje Coraline, el primero lo hice a mediados de 2020 cuando estaba la pandemia, y no es que haya sido momentos buenos para recordar ese año en especifico. En cuanto al dibujo quise hacer otro intento más en dibujar al personaje, además les quiero mostrar ambos bocetos que me pareció bastante curioso mientras dibujaba.

Como se fijarán, tengo la mala costumbre en hacer a la mayoría de los personajes que dibujo en una forma de cara alargada lo cual, es algo que he intentado hasta en mejorar y evitar ese tipo de caras, a no ser que el personaje sea de esa forma. Pero en esta ocasión como Coraline es una niña y la forma de la cara que le había hecho no estaba quedando bien, lo que hice fue reducir un poco el tamaño de la cara, y acomodarle la posición de la mejilla. Quería dejarle los ojos un poco más abiertos pero cambie de opinión al final.
As you may notice, I have the bad habit of making most of the characters I draw with an elongated face shape, which is something I have tried to improve and avoid that kind of faces, unless the character is that way. But this time as Coraline is a girl and the shape of the face I had made was not looking good, what I did was to reduce a little the size of the face, and adjust the position of the cheek. I wanted to leave her eyes a little more open but I changed my mind in the end.
Estos fan arts son buenos de hacer porque te ayuda en captar más la atención en lo que estas haciendo para que quedé bien dignamente tu dibujo sobre un personaje que te haya gustado mucho, con lo cual me ha sido bueno haber por fin detectado ese error en cuanto a la forma de la cara cuando en un principio no lo estaba notando.
These fan arts are good to do because it helps you to capture more attention on what you are doing so that your drawing on a character that you have liked a lot, so it has been good to have finally detected that error in the shape of the face when at first I was not noticing it.

Es un bonito trabajo, es bueno que te hayas dado cuenta del error en la mejilla, se nota que le pones cariño a lo que te haces.

Generalmente no cuento las capas en realidad, ya que no es relativo al respecto, así que no pudiera darte una suma exacta pero tampoco es que hayan sido muchas a no ser que incluyera muchos detalles al dibujo.
Esa película me daba mucho miedo de pequeño, nunca le agarré cariño al personaje, pero tu fanart está genial. Saludos!!
