BREVE INTRODUCCION / SMALL INTRODUCTION
Hello dear community, today I want to share with you my pencil drawing of an anime called "Vampire Knights". This anime revolves around the life of a girl named Yuuki (right side of the drawing) who was attacked by a vampire when she was little and when she grows up she lives in a school where humans and vampires attend, but the latter make an effort to hide their secret. One of the bloodsuckers in the series is called Zero, who is the boy with silver hair on the left side of my drawing, I don't wanna tell you too much about the story in case someone hasn't seen the anime yet.

Procedimiento
Once the initial sketch of the drawing has been made, I usually gently mark which areas of the face or hair I will shade.
Then I applied several layers of light shadows, without making much pressure of the HB pencil tip on the sheet, in the darkest areas of Zero's hair.
Generalmente trato de mantener un orden cuando dibujo, es por eso que continué aplicando las capas de sombras claras pero esta vez en el cabello de Yuuki.
I usually try to keep an order when I draw, that's why I continued applying the light shadow layers but this time on Yuuki's hair.
Luego fui aplicando una capa de sombra un poco más oscura con el mismo lápiz HB, esta vez ejerciendo más presión sobre la hoja, para poder crear ese tono oscuro en las puntas del cabello de Zero.
Then I applied a slightly darker layer of shadow with the same HB pencil, this time putting more pressure on the blade, in order to create that dark tone on the ends of Zero's hair
De la misma forma apliqué las sombras en el cabello de Yuuki.
In the same way I applied the shadows on Yuuki's hair.
Una vez tenemos las áreas mas oscuras del cabello listas, podemos dedicarnos a aplicar las sombras mas claras desde la raíz del cabello. Esta vez apliqué una sola capa de sombra nuevamente con el lápiz HB hasta cubrir la mitad superior del cabello, realicé el mismo procedimiento tanto en Zero como en Yuuki.
Once we have the darkest areas of the hair ready, we can dedicate ourselves to applying the lighter shadows from the root of the hair. This time I applied a single layer of shadow again with the HB pencil until I covered the top half of the hair, I did the same procedure on both Zero and Yuuki.
Después de haber detallado lo suficiente el cabello, proseguí a sombrear zonas del rostro de ambos personajes, aplicando una sombra muy sútil con el lápiz HB. Y en la zona de la sangre del cuello de Yuuki ejercí más presión con el lápiz para dar un tono más oscuro.
After having sufficiently detailed the hair, I continued to shade areas of the face of both characters, applying a very subtle shadow with the HB pencil. And in the area of the blood on Yuuki's neck I exerted more pressure with the pencil to give a darker tone.
Ahora bien, ya con las sombras del rostro y cabello hechas un detalle muy importante era el darle algo de fuerza a los ojos, así que en esta zona apliqué presión con el lápiz para usar un tono lo suficientemente osucro, en forma circular siguiendo el eje radial que me marcaba el ovalo del brillo del ojo.
Now, with the shadows of the face and hair done, a very important detail was to give some strength to the eyes, so in this area I applied pressure with the pencil to use a sufficiently dark tone, in a circular shape following the axis radial that marked me the oval of the brightness of the eye.
Y para finalizar usé el lápiz 2B para remarcar todos los contornos del dibujo.
And to finish I used the 2B pencil to highlight all the contours of the drawing.
