Un gusto volver a verlos, en esta ocasión les traje un dibujo de Pinocchio. Película de Guillermo del Toro con una adaptación del cuento clásico que todos conocemos. Me gustó mucho la película y tenía que dibujar a este niño de madera que vive y respira y vaga por esta tierra.
Hay toda una historia detrás de este dibujo, en realidad este fue mi segundo intento de dibujar a Pinocchio. El primer intento fue un total desastre. He aquí la desgracia.
Nice to see you again, this time I brought you a drawing of Pinocchio. Guillermo del Toro's movie with an adaptation of the classic tale we all know. I really liked the movie and I had to draw this wooden boy who lives and breathes and wanders this earth.
There is a whole story behind this drawing, actually this was my second attempt to draw Pinocchio. The first attempt was a total disaster. Here's the misfortune.
Lo que trataba de hacer originalmente era mojar la hoja con café marrón y dibujar alrededor, el problema fue que yo no tomo café (casi nunca) y el café que está tomando mi abuela no sirvió porque daba un color negro, y no marrón claro como yo quería. Entonces me decidí por la pintura, me gustaron los colores pero creo que el problema fue que eran demasiado oscuros, estaba usando pintura escolar tempera a lo mejor si hubiera usado acuarela quedaba mejor; lamentablemente no tengo acuarela y nunca he aprendido a usarla. Lo cierto es que no pude dibujar muy bien con la pintura.
Decidí hacer un segundo intento. Está vez sin pintura, solo lápices en blanco y negro como siempre hago, pero de verdad quería usar colores para este dibujo asi que me volví a arriesgar pero está vez con lápices de colores.
What I was trying to do originally was to wet the leaf with brown coffee and draw around it, the problem was that I don't drink coffee (almost never) and the coffee my grandmother is drinking didn't work because it gave a black color, and not light brown as I wanted. Then I decided to use paint, I liked the colors but I think the problem was that they were too dark, I was using tempera school paint, maybe if I had used watercolor it would have been better; unfortunately I don't have watercolor and I have never learned to use it. The truth is that I could not draw very well with the paint.
I decided to make a second attempt. This time without paint, just black and white pencils as I always do, but I really wanted to use colors for this drawing so I took the risk again but this time with colored pencils.
El mes pasado me cree una página de dibujo en facebook y el lunes pasado cree una cuenta de tiktok para hacer Reels cortos para la página. Aunque no lo parezca tiktok es muy útil, es mucho más sencillo que usar una página externa, editar y subir a una red social además de menos pesado.
Así que ahí estaba yo grabando cada comienzo del proceso, aunque no se ve, además de marrón claro y oscuro usé también naranja y negro. El problema es que al comienzo pensé que sería otro intento fallido así que deje grabar y tomar fotos cuando use esos colores. Sin embargo creo que todo terminó bien y me gustó el resultado.
Fue un dibujo muy lindo, pude hacer un dibujo con colores e hice un Reels corto con una bonita canción.

Last month I created a drawing page on facebook and last Monday I created a tiktok account to make short Reels for the page. Although it may not seem like it, tiktok is very useful, it is much easier than using an external page, editing and uploading to a social network and also less heavy.
So there I was recording every beginning of the process, although you can't see it, besides light and dark brown I also used orange and black. The problem is that at the beginning I thought it would be another failed attempt so I let record and take pictures when I used those colors. However I think it all ended well and I liked the result.
It was a very nice drawing, I was able to make a drawing with colors and I made a short Reels with a nice song.
