He estado a la búsqueda de mi forma particular de pintar, de dibujar, de ilustrar, ha sido una búsqueda exhaustiva; este dibujo es uno de los tantos que conforman esa búsqueda, elegí reusar algo tan común como billetes, son billetes que han sido devaluados en mi país y como práctica quise hacer un artista, que es este caso es un músico estadounidense, su nombre es Joji, su música no sabría como clasificarla pero disfruto escucharla; teniendo estos elementos en mente decidí hacer este dibujo, les hablaré con un poco del proceso y como me sentí en el mismo, espero lo disfruten.
I have been in search of my particular way of painting, drawing, illustrating, it has been an exhaustive search; this drawing is one of the many that according to that search, I chose to reuse something as common as bills, they are bills that have been devalued in my country and as a practice I wanted to make an artist, which in this case is an American musician, his name is Joji , his music I would not know how to classify it but I enjoy listening to it; having these elements in mind, I decided to make this drawing, I will tell you a little about the process and how I felt in it, I hope you enjoy it.
No quiero aburrirlos con un boceto, vamos de lleno al como lo pinte y en dónde. Cómo les había hablado lo hice en papel de moneda, claramente un papel de moneda que no tuviese valor económico pero si artístico, pegué los extremos de un billete con el otro, espere que se secaran, para luego pasar al boceto, dibujar en billetes es difícil y más difícil aún es distinguir las líneas, por suerte en esta fotografía se puede apreciar, al igual que puede ver qué había comenzado a pintar lo que sería el fondo; lo curioso de todo esto es que lo pinte con pintura para tela, me gusta el brillo que le queda al billete y el color que deja en el papel, a la hora de darle volumen con la pintura al rostro del músico, estaba muy consciente de ser cuidadosa, irme con cuidado a que debía y no debía hacer, que exagerar o que suavizar, no quería que por un descuido mío se le pudiese cambiar una facción del mismo.

As I had spoken to you, I did it on paper money, clearly a paper currency that did not have an economic value but was artistic, I glued the ends of one bill to the other, wait for them to dry, and then proceed to the sketch, drawing on bills is It is difficult and even more difficult to distinguish the lines, luckily in this photograph you can see it, just as you can see what had begun to paint what would be the background; the curious thing about all this is that I painted it with fabric paint, I like the shine that remains on the ticket and the color that it leaves on the paper, when it came to giving volume with the paint to the musician's face, I was very aware of be careful, be careful about what I should and shouldn't do, what to exaggerate or what to soften, I didn't want a faction of it to be changed due to my carelessness.
Afortunadamente quedó bien el pintar como lo hice, con cuidado y demás, porque venía algo a lo cual le tengo un amor y odio, el delinear; explicaré porque es un sentimiento tan ambiguo esto de delinear, pues, a veces puede salir bien y a veces puede salir mal y no se puede borrar, puedes empezar desde cero, como por ejemplo al delinear este dibujo también fui muy meticulosa porque si me pasaba una línea o no la tomaba en cuenta, podría quedar un poco mal el rostro, me tomé mi tiempo para concentrarme viendo los detalles y las sombras; en cada dibujo disfruto cierto proceso, este no es ni de cerca la excepción, me sentí muy bien haciéndolo, hay cosas que podría mejorar y pienso hacerlo pero en este dibujo me he permitido ser un poco más libre de equivocarme, aunque son errores mínimos, son cosas que tengo por reparar, eso me mantiene expectante a mi misma ¿Que será lo siguiente a mejorar?
Fortunately, it turned out well to paint as I did, carefully and so on, because something was coming that I have a love and hate for, outlining; I will explain why this outlining is such an ambiguous feeling, well, sometimes it can go well and sometimes it can go wrong and it cannot be erased, you can start from scratch, for example when outlining this drawing I was also very meticulous because if I missed a line or I didn't take it into account, the face could look a little bad, I took my time to concentrate seeing the details and the shadows; In each drawing I enjoy a certain process, this one is not even close to the exception, I felt very good doing it, there are things that I could improve and I plan to do it, but in this drawing I have allowed myself to be a little more free to make mistakes, although they are minimal errors, They are things that I have to repair, that keeps me waiting for myself. What will be the next thing to improve?
