Teach some tricks to pass a entry test

in Sketchbook3 years ago

Hi everyone at hive hope u guys are fine and well
So for today junior contact me to teach her some basic drawing cuz she's taking admission in fine art and she have a test tomorrow . So I tell her to come to my home . She came after an hour and I chose a still life to teach hers some basic technics of drawing and I also tell her what was the test when I was taking admission mOst probably it's gonna be same lol
Ok so I chose a hair dryer as a still life cuz it have some basic perspectives
So I teach her some basic things cuz you can't learn everything in one day so I'm basic things you have to be good in observing shapes and judging your on work if it's ready to go or not like lines are ok or not and things like this .
She was actually a good observer of shapes and things but lacking in lines but definitely she will learn that too

So I thought to teach u guys a bit too

1 So for the first step to start anything just compose the the thing on paper like make a border line across the paper so that your drawing won't go out

2 secondly just draw the very basic shape of it like if it's cube cuz definitely it's a 3D object so make a cube it can be a rectangular square with different perspective so just make a cube the way your object is placed

3 for third step start giving shapes the out shapes of object

4 and if you find a object most likely just go for details

  1. And after giving minor detail start shading
    For shading tips
The one and only tip is to go from dark to light
U can use different shades of sketch pencils as well

Thanks you hope you guys find it help full and still cant get anything clear tell me I'll guide u
