Moana 🧡

in Sketchbookyesterday

Hi guys!
Today I painted Moana, the main character from the animated film of the same name. The second part was released recently, and I immediately went to the cinema to watch it.

In Moana 2, the story picks up three years after the events of the original film. Moana, now a confident and experienced wayfinder, embarks on a new journey across the Pacific with Maui, the demigod. Their mission is to locate the lost island of Motufetu, a place shrouded in mystery and cursed for generations.

Moana remains one of Disney’s most beloved heroines, celebrated for her bravery and representation of Polynesian culture. The film’s message about embracing one’s identity and following one’s path resonates with audiences worldwide.

Here you can see the process of how I painted Moana using water colors. You need a sheet of pad, a sketch pen, watercolors, a thin black marker and good energy. 😀

Moana has always been an inspiration to me – a symbol of bravery and connection to the sea. I decided to draw her in my own style using watercolor techniques. It took me a few hours to complete, and the biggest challenge was capturing her strong yet kind expression.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on my drawing! Do you have a favorite moment or character from the Moana movie?
