Hello dear friends of Hive and Sketchbook!!
Friends! It's been a long time since I've been here, I apologize. I have been working on several projects that I will be sharing here very soon. Thanks to all your support I have been able to create my studio little by little and try new techniques with new art materials. I am very grateful to finally be able to share this with you, thank you for everything.
This time I will be sharing with you the beginning of a series of posts about character creation.
To start with this one, I will be sharing with you the drawing process of Anita and Mr. mustache.

Gracias a todo el apoyo de ustedes he podido ir creando mi estudio poco a poco e ir probando técnicas con materiales nuevos de arte. Para esta ocasión les estaré compartiendo el inicio de una serie de post acerca de la creación de personajes.
Para iniciar con esta sería, les estaré compartiendo el proceso de dibujo de Anita y el señor bigotito
In next week's post I will be telling you more about this great old man, this great friend of newspapers, his news and his great stories... Mr. Mustache. Next to him is our dear Anita, now a little older, we are talking about 12 years old.
To start with this drawing process, I will be sharing with you the sketch.
I was using the Procreate program where you can find the Lapiz 6B brush and I was making the final outline and the sketch.
En el post de la semana que viene les estaré contando más acerca del este gran viejo, este gran amigo de los periódicos, sus noticias y sus grandes historias… el señor bigotin. Junto a él se encuentra nuestra queria Anita ya un poco más grande, hablamos de unos 12 años.
Para iniciar con este proceso de dibujo, les estaré compartiendo el boceto.
Estuve utilizando el programa de Procreate en el puedes encontrar el pincel de Lapiz 6B estuve realizando el delineado final y el boceto.
Once the sketch is ready. I will start applying the colors.
The classic colors of this illustration, the colors I have been using for the great series of Anita.
Cold and greenish tones.
A rather calm illustration.
I'll start using the lasso tool to apply the flat colors.
Once I have each color in its place I will start to bring it to life with the details of the brushes. Brushes that resemble watercolor and crayons in traditional art.
I will be gently applying them little by little to Paco over each color.
Then I will start to make the small outlines with crayon to give more definition to the drawing.
Al tener ubicado cada color en su lugar empezaré a darle vida con los detalles de los pinceles. Pinceles que se asemejan a la acuarela y los crayones en arte tradicional.
Los estaré aplicando suavemente poco a Paco sobre cada color.
Luego empezaré a realizar los pequeños delineados con crayón para darle más definición al dibujo.
I was making several details and adding some objects to the illustration. Like books, folders and newspapers.
Varying the colors and adding layers of color.
Until I got the final result!
Estuve realizando varios detalles y agregando algunos objetos a la ilustración. Como libros, carpetas y periódicos.
Variando los colores y agregando capas de color.
Hasta obtener el resultado final!
