There is nothing more wonderful than waking up in the morning with your baby's smile, after preparing her, going straight to the kitchen, filling the small pot with water and placing it on the stove until it boils. Pour the coffee and feel how the aroma fills the entire room, strain it, serve it in that favorite cup and sip a little, closing my eyes, just enjoying the moment.
There I forget everything and only the moment remains, those precious seconds paralyze and a smile appears on my face, little by little I open my eyes to find that I don't need anything else, that I am a very lucky person for everything I have, I am grateful for my family, for my friends, for all those projects that I have, I thank God for giving us health and being able to enjoy that small sip of coffee in the morning.

No hay nada mas sabroso que levantarse en la mañana con la sonrisa de tu bebé, después de prepararla a ella, ir directo a la cocina, llenar la pequeña olla de agua y colocarla en el fuego hasta esperar a que hierva. Verter el café y sentir como el aroma inunda toda la estancia, colarlo, servirlo en la taza con la cual me sienta identificada en ese día y sorber un poco, cerrando los ojos, solo disfrutando del momento.
Allí me olvido de todo y solo queda el instante, esos preciosos segundos se paralizan y una sonrisa aparece en mi rostro, poco a poco abro los ojos para encontrarme con que no necesito nada más, que soy una persona muy afortunada por todo lo que tengo, agradezco por mi familia, por mis amistades, por todos esos proyectos que tengo, agradezco a Dios por darnos salud y poder disfrutar de ese pequeño sorbo de café en la mañana.

Hello, I want to present a character design based on the coffee that I consume the most called DellaNonna, it is a delicious coffee from the Amanecer brand created in 2012 that produces 100% Venezuelan coffee; They are located in the state of Portuguesa and although I haven't the opportunity to visit that state, it is in the goals of our lives (my husband and I) to know and tour Venezuela and as long as that is our minds I know that someday we will be able to start and achieve it.
Hola, quiero presentarles un diseño de personaje basado en el café que más consumo llamado DellaNonna, es un café riquísimo de la marca Amanecer creada en el 2012 que produce café 100% venezolano; ellos se encuentran ubicados en el estado Portuguesa y aunque aun no he tenido la oportunidad de visitar ese estado, está en las metas de nuestras vidas (de mi esposo y mía) de conocer y recorrer Venezuela y mientras eso esté en mente yo sé que algún día podremos arrancar y lograrlo.
For the design of this character, I based it mostly on the name Dellanonna, imagining a petite old lady enjoying a cup of coffee. Images came to my mind of a visit to a family that resides in Marigüitar, capital of the Bolivar municipality, Sucre State; They are people who, even though I saw them only once when I was little, left an impression. I remember a large house with a dirt front and an old lady sitting in a rocking chair, she smiled from time to time but the years were already weighing on her back and knocking her knees. They introduced her to me as my great-grandmother, even then she must have Being over ninety years old, everything took place on a hot day with my hair stuck to my forehead from sweat, the sun coming through the branches of a large tree and my parents chatting with people while sharing a cup of coffee.

Para el diseño de éste personaje, me basé más que todo en el nombre Dellanonna, imaginandome una señora menuda y morena disfrutando de una taza de café. A mi cabeza se vinieron imágenes de una visita a una familia que reside en Marigüitar, capital del municipio Bolivar, Estado Sucre; son personas que a pesar de que los vi una sola vez cuando era pequeña dejaron una impresión. Recuerdo una gran casa con un frente de tierra y una señora anciana sentada en una mecedora, sonreía de vez en cuando pero ya los años le pesaban en la espalda y le golpeaban las rodillas, me la presentaron como mi bisabuela, ya en ese entonces debía tener más de noventa años, todo transcurría en un caluroso día con el cabello pegado a la frente por el sudor, el sol entrando entre las ramas de un gran árbol y mis padres charlando con las personas mientras compartian cada uno con una taza de café.
It is very beautiful how sometimes drawings stir feelings, emotions and memories. To use the color, I recreated the ones on the packaging and, resembling the coffee beans I made a pattern on the skirt at the bottom. I finished everything with highlights from the upper right area, simulating the sunrise and the lady going out to enjoy her coffee. Es muy bonito como a veces los dibujos remueven sentimientos, emociones y recuerdos. Para la utilización del color recree los del empaque y asemejando los granos de café les hice un patrón a la falda en la parte inferior. Culminé todo con toques de luz procedentes de la zona superior derecha, simulando el amanecer y la señora saliendo a disfrutar de su café. Espero les haya gustado y no se hayan aburrido con mi historia personal jajaja. Saludos!
