Painting: Cloudy sky (EN/ES) ☁️🌙

Saludos a todos los interesados en mi post, espero que sus primeros días del año hayan iniciado bien. Últimamente he estado pintando más seguido, y anhelaba volver a utilizar las pinturas al frío, recuerdo que antes me gustaban mucho 😌

Pensé en cosas que me gustaran e intercambiando ideas con mis hermanos concluí en dibujar el cielo, pues, ¿a quién no le encanta ver el crepúsculo durante una puesta o salida del sol? Es algo casi genérico. Sin embargo, no podemos apreciarlo siempre, salvo en imágenes o en dibujos 🌆

Por eso, quise plasmar mi propia salida del sol, con la luna, las nubes y las estrellas. Los colores me encantaron, no creí que fuera a lograrlo porque nunca antes había dibujado nubes, pero a mi parecer quedó bien.

A continuación les explico cómo lo realicé.

Greetings to everyone interested in my post, I hope your first days of the year have started well. Lately I have been painting more often, and I was longing to use cold paints again, I remember I used to like them a lot 😌

I thought of things I liked and exchanging ideas with my siblings I concluded to draw the sky, well, who doesn't love to see the twilight during a sunset or sunrise? It is something almost generic. However, we can't always appreciate it, except in images or drawings 🌆

That's why I wanted to capture my own sunrise, with the moon, clouds and stars. I loved the colors, I didn't think I was going to make it because I had never drawn clouds before, but I think it turned out well.

Here's how I did it.

1 ✨

Lo primero que realicé fue aplicar una mano de pintura al frío azul que creé con azul bebé, azul turquesa y blanco. Luego, con el rosado y el blanco fui creando un difuminado según quería que se viera mi cielo.

The first thing I did was to apply a coat of paint to the cold blue that I created with baby blue, turquoise blue and white. Then, with the pink and the white I created a blur as I wanted my sky to look.

2 ✨

Proseguí a crear siluetas tenues de nubes y una luna mezclando pintura blanca con agua. Las creé según veía conveniente y poco a poco iba agregando más capaz de blanco para lograr cierto realismo.

I proceeded to create faint silhouettes of clouds and a moon by mixing white paint with water. I created them as I saw fit and gradually added more and more white to achieve a certain realism.

3 ✨

Aquí puedes ver como ubico capa sobre capa de blanco diluido para crear las nubes ☁️

Finalmente, agregué tres estrellas grandes que resalten y dibujé miles de puntos chispeando pintura blanca con un cepillo dental (típico truco) 🤣

Finally, I added three large stars that stand out and drew thousands of dots by spraying white paint with a toothbrush (typical trick) 🤣

Y listo, así de fácil pude crear mi propio cielo. Tú también puedes crearlo aplicando las técnicas que utilicé. También puedes inspirarte de esto y crear una idea propia, todo se vale 😉
