Letting Your Art Wound Heal

❤️😊 Hey There! 😊❤️

Hi, it's me again. After thinking for a while and letting my mind rest, I finally got the energy to grab my tablet and draw. But this time, I am not doing it so that I could improve and learn or for any other reason but to just let myself heal. I been studying art non-stop daily so I could achieve the result that I want with my art and with the loads of things that I have to manage in my life, I did not notice that stress is starting to swallow me whole. All of those things buried me alive, with me only noticing it when I'm all but broken shards. I shattered from the inside, blaming myself for my lack of skill and competence. I feel frustraded yet numb.

I grabbed my drawing tablet and booted up my painting software. I started drawing lines, turning them into shapes, letting my emotions out! I drew selfishly, I draw for myself. I let go of all of my emotion, placing them into my canvas.

Now, here are the steps that I followed in making this piece: ✔️

First, did a quick sketch of the piece that I want to draw.

I then placed the values of my color.

✨ Step 3 ✔️

I then added the flat colors.

✨ Step 4 ✔️

Finally, I added the shadows.
