Painting on a cover of an old destroyed book (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!
Today the sky is white over my city, it's cold and it's raining a little. Watching from my window I can't see the peeks of the mountains close to my city, because the clouds are like a white cover over everything. The right time to wear a warm pullover, to drink a cup of hot tea (or coffee ^_^ ) and, for me, to paint in relax. ❤️

Tomorrow I'll have to go to the cousin of my hubby to help her with the little twins (just 5 months old) for a couple of hours and I can't wait to see those 2 little ones! Their parents are a little tired cause the twins don't sleep well during the night and so I offer myself to help them when they are in need. I live just few minutes from them and I'm a freelance, so I can organize my work in freedom. Besides of this, to stay with those sweet little ones is a source of inspiration and positive vibes for me, so I'm happy to go there.

Coming back to the artwork I want to share with you today, this morning I took one of the destroyed cover of old books I stored in my lab (we collect parts of destroyed book from relatives and friends) and I painted the following one:

It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on a small cover of a destroyed book and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
