The flowers and the girl (oil on paper)

An happy Friday to you all! The weekend is just around the corner and the weather in my area looks crazy like in March. This morning was snowing on the peaks of the mountains close to my city and it's really an unusual thing to see in April here (the last time was around 15 years ago ^^ ), but after the lunch the Sun shines on the sky over all of us. Crazy weather! ^^

Today I'm here to share with you my latest painting. Inspired by te Spring, I thougt to paint someting about flowers and so I just finished this new one:

Before to start to paint I searched online some old pics about botanical illustrations and I left my imagination free to work.

As you can see in the previous pics, the main subject is one of my usual subjects and I painted a plant with red flowers around the figure. Sorry, I don't know te name of this plant cause I found it in a cold botanical image.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
