The house on the cloud (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
After a rainy night, a warm Sun is shining on the sky over my city and the birds came back to fly around the branches of the plum tree in my backyard.
After the Sunday spent cleaning my house (especially the lab room ^_^ ) and walking along the side of the river to breath fresh air and move my legs, I couldn't wait to take my brushes and colors to work on new artworks.
I started my Monday soon in the morning. A good cup of hot coffee, I gave food to my furry friend Richy and I spent the first, quiet hours of the day painting a new, small, painting of mine. In the following pics, you can see the final result of my first piece of the new week:

As you can see, I imagined (and painted) one of my usual tiny scene about home on a cloud while it was raining. I'm pretty sure the cloudy sky of these days inpired this piece. 😉
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:

Talk about rain, it has been raining constantly for almost 2 weeks, and this cold, just over 10 degrees. There are bright spots when you come up with a new painting, I am always happy with your works!!
