The smallest canvas I’ve ever painted (mixed media on canvas)

Hello hivers, I wish you an happy Friday! A new weekend is just around the corner and here the weather is not good. Dark clouds all around, some raindrops are falling down from the sky, but it's a common weather for the October month here in Italy. I think this dark atmosphere is perfect to remind Halloween time, ghost stories and similar things (maybe you don't know it, but I love the ghost stories!). 😊

This morning, as my usual, I woke up soon to work on my new artworks during the first hours of the day and watching the dark sky I thought to paint something a little dark, like one of my women on a black background and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, it's a new small (very small) piece of the series I call "Thinking about home" and it's the smallest canvas I’ve ever painted, it's just 6 cm x 9 cm (2.3" x 3.5")!
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this tiny woman so you can see the work in progress:

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!

I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

Greetings Dear Silvia,

This miniature portrait is lovely artwork...Tiny can be difficult. ^__^

Are you going to post a trailer of this post at Snaps....I see some are using it in that way. Bleujay will probably try to do so tomorrow.

Kind Regards, Bleujay

I agree with you, dear Bleujay, tiny can be difficult (and not so good for my eyes ^_^ ).

Como siempre muy hermoso tu arte..

Muchas gracias, Alberto.

It's tiny but beautiful, how did you manage it?

Tiny is beautiful and the painting is lovely.
