The sweet cat (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! Today here it's raining hard in my area, there are a lot of raindrops on the plants in my backyard and the leaves and the branches seem to have a lot of little gems.
The holidays season is over and it's time to come back to the usual daily life. For me, it means to come back to spend the most part of the day working with my brushes and colors and, even if I loved to be with my relatives and friends during the holidays, now I'm happy to come back to my daily routine.

This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork before the city wake up. It was really dark because the rain, but I was happy to see a couple of birds flying not so far from me and so I placed some food for them close to my window. During those quiet hours of the day I started a new artwork and I just finished it, so I can share with you the final result:

As you can see, the subject is a sweet cat in brown. I wanted to represent a family cat and so I added a little scene about home on the body.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
