I'm so happy and inspired today. I finally got my XP-Pen Deco drawing tablet after days of thinking whether I should spend my savings on it or not. At first, I was having second thoughts but thanks to my best friend, she convinced me to do it and I love it!
While I do have issues with it with photoshop due to the shortcut keys not working, I can compromise by adjusting my keyboard shortcuts. The drawing tablet has no problems. I run an older version of photoshop on a hand me down laptop so I should've expected it. I still am happy despite this.
It's a weird feeling to draw digitally versus on paper but I'm immediately getting used to it. I'm really happy about this and I hope this reignites my passion for art. I have lots of things planned that I haven't started because everything needs to be done digitally. Now, with this new gadget, I don't have any excuse and I can finally step forward to a possible career in the future. But for now, I need tons of practice.
