I have almost zero experience in making any art to a wall but masking film would perhaps be what I would use, especially if there are tiny details. Or perhaps masking film and masking tape. But what I've always dreamed of owning is an overhead projector. You know the ones teachers used to use in school? Perhaps some still use those. You definitely need that to project the art to the wall. And some time in the future, when you invite us Hivers there to a house warming party, you can show slides AND write important details of the renovation to a transparent film and project that to the wall. I'm not sure yet if you should also make a power point representation but you can never be too much prepared.
