Hey guys. few days no art!!! I present to you all my new piece named "The Daydreamer". The past few days has been festive periods in my state and my family takes part actively in the festivities. So this is why I haven't been drawing much lately. Well, I decided to create something unique for my comeback and started creating this piece since sunday.
This piece shows a young boy experiencing a daydream which is quite common for his anyone in his age. His daydream is quite a colour one and it shows two species of whales ( The killer whale and the blue back whale) swimming across his face.
I had originally decided to use butterflies or birds but this were already very common concept and the whale was perfect for this because it showed the boy may also be daydreaming about becoming a crypto whale which is in fact probably one of the best feelings in the world which is why he looks so happy. I really just experimented with this piece and I'm glad the result looked awesome.
I changed the colour of the background because I wanted a more dreamy effect, the blue was perfect. This piece was created using the scribble technique on the autodesk sketchbook app and I hope you love it.
