Below some processing work I uploaded which I do in my every post.
It's a fun part also difficult for me to make dark background. I use graphite power, I collect graphite powder when I sharp my pencil.
Cotton wool is very helpful to create detail tone.
So that's it.

Excellent job!, I'm a bit surprised that you don't have more support from this community. I don't see the reason for it. It's not my business but I'd like to be helpful, stacking some Hive and holding some to upvote to others could change this attitude I guess.
