Hello everyone, this time I bring another traditional drawing that I did since most of them that I have shown are digital, although if you are their sketches they are by hand.
La verdad es que este dibujo lo hice para la convención de anime a la que asistí ya que tendrían un espacio para exponer dibujos y salí tan apurada que se me quedó ;w; lo cual fue muy triste porque me había quedado hasta tarde terminándolo e incluso le puse mi instagram de arte.
The truth is that I did this drawing for the anime convention that I attended since they would have a space to exhibit drawings and I left in such a hurry that it stuck ;w; which was very sad because I had stayed up late finishing it and even put my instagram art on it.
Pero bueno, el dibujo que elegí hacer es del personaje Lettuce de el anime Tokyo mew mew el cual actualmente está lanzando su versión remake la cual está muy bonita.
But hey, the drawing I chose to do is of the character Lettuce from the anime Tokyo mew mew which is currently launching its remake version which is very pretty.
Elegí dibujar a lettuce porque es un personaje con el que me identifico mucho y mi personaje favorito de tokyo mew mew ya que al ser una chica tranquila y callada las personas suelen pasar de ella por lo cual no tiene amigos. Es algo que a mi me pasó y se como se sentiría este personaje por ello empatizo mucho con ella.
I chose to draw lettuce because she is a character with whom I identify a lot and my favorite character from tokyo mew mew since being a calm and quiet girl people usually ignore her so she has no friends. It’s something that happened to me and I know how this character would feel, so I empathize a lot with her.
Muchas veces para guiarme al dibujar uso una app llamada easypose, ya haré una entrada hablando de esta app que les puede ayudar a muchos en el dibujo.
Many times to guide me when drawing I use an app called easypose, I will make a post talking about this app that can help many in drawing.
Luego tener la pose que quiero la paso al papel, primero hago un boceto muy rápido y luego me pongo a implementar detalles y corregir algunas cosas.
After having the pose I want, I put it on paper, first I make a very quick sketch and then I start to implement details and correct some things.
Comencé a pintar el dibujo con colores sin embargo como como papel tenía textura y al tener detalles tan pequeños no era la mejor opción así que cambien a pintarlo con acuarelas.
I started to paint the drawing with colors however as paper it had texture and having such small details it was not the best option so I changed to painting it with watercolors.
Mi idea en un principio era hacer el dibujos sin trazos, nada más valiéndome de sombras y luces para marcar la silueta y estaba quedando como quería.
My idea at first was to make the drawings without lines, just using shadows and lights to mark the silhouette and it was coming out as I wanted.
Esta era la primera vez que iba a dibujar agua y esta iba a estar en movimiento así que sería difícil y en efecto no lo logré.
This was the first time I was going to draw water and it was going to be moving so it would be difficult and I actually didn’t make it.
Por ello tuve que cambiar la técnica de mi dibujo y cambié a trazarlo con líneas gruesas y desordenadas para darle cierto estilo al agua.
For this reason I had to change the technique of my drawing and changed to drawing it with thick and messy lines to give the water a certain style.
Y así quedo! Todo en el dibujo es dibujar algo nuevo aunque te quede mal, pues practicarlo varias veces e investigar como hacerlo es la única forma en que se aprenderá para que en algún momento todo quede como quieres.
And so I am! Everything in drawing is drawing something new even if it looks bad, because practicing it several times and investigating how to do it is the only way you will learn so that at some point everything is as you want.
