Un ARG es un juego de realidad alternativa, los juegos constan de historias creadas para que un publico real interactúe y sea parte de los acontecimientos. A mi me gustan mucho este tipo de juego y Welcome home se ah convertido en mi favorito y me gusta mucho la persona principal que es Wally.
An ARG is an alternate reality game, the games consist of stories created for a real audience to interact and be part of the events. I really like this type of game and Welcome home has become my favorite and I really like the main person who is Wally.
Para este dibujo usé de referencia un clip que hay de este personaje cantando el cual me gusta mucho así que quise hacer una imagen del personaje a mi estilo y haciendo referencia a la canción.
For this drawing I used as a reference a clip of this character singing which I really like so I wanted to make an image of the character in my style and referring to the song.
Para comenzar trazo de forma muy desordena lo que quería que sea la pose y donde va a estar ubicado, luego de que tengo la idea lista plasmada proceso a dibujar al personaje, la proporción, el cuerpo, la ropa los detalles hasta llegar a un boceto muy limpio para comenzar con el line art.
To begin, I draw in a very disorderly way what I wanted the pose to be and where it will be located. After I have the idea ready, I process the process of drawing the character, the proportion, the body, the clothing, the details until I reach a sketch. very clean to start with the line art.
Para el diseño de Wally quise hacerle un atuendo un poco de capitán? ¿Marinero? Por ahí va la ropa ya que no le puse su diseño habitual ya que la canción hace referencia a navegar y dibujé una pecera con una ballena de mentira flotando en su agua porque hace referencia a otra parte de la canción.
For Wally's design, did I want to make him an outfit that was a bit like a captain? Sailor? That's where the clothes go since I didn't give them their usual design since the song refers to sailing and I drew a fish tank with a fake whale floating in its water because it refers to another part of the song.
El ambiente del dibujo es en la noche así que algo que hago es pintar el fondo de colores que me ayuden a ver como quiero que se vean los colores según en donde esta el personaje.
The setting of the drawing is at night so something I do is paint the background in colors that help me see how I want the colors to look depending on where the character is.
Ahora va la parte del color que es mi favorita y en especial el rostro.
Now comes the part of the color that is my favorite and especially the face.
Como detalle quise agregar al dibujo todas estas flores aquí debajo de la ventana pues la casa de Wally tiene flores las cuales me gustan mucho porque las pintan como si un arcoíris se hubiera rociado en ellas, aunque admito que no tenia muchas ganas de dibujar tantas jajaja.
As a detail I wanted to add all these flowers to the drawing here under the window because Wally's house has flowers which I really like because they paint them as if a rainbow had been sprayed on them, although I admit that I didn't really want to draw so many hahaha.
Luego de ya todo pintado le agrego esta capa difusa de azul oscuro para que se vea como de noche.
After everything is painted, I add this diffuse layer of dark blue to make it look like night.
Un detalle que agregue a lo ultimo fue un broche en forma de ojo en la camisa de Wally puesto que se me hacia que le faltaba algo de color rojo en el debido a su diseño original tan colorido y lleno de tonalidades brillantes.
A detail that I added to the last thing was an eye-shaped brooch on Wally's shirt since I thought it was missing some red color in it due to its original design, so colorful and full of bright tones.
Algo que yo suelo hacer con mis dibujos al final es pasar de SAI2 que el mi programa favorito para dibujar, es que los paso a Photoshop para agregar toques finales que en sai no se pueden hacer.
Aquí lo pase al Photoshop y lo que hice fue subirle la saturación al color y acentuar otro, yo tengo un estilo de dibujo muy colorido, no me suelo sentir a gusto cuando los dibujos tienen alguna falta de color cuando son míos, puedo verlos en trabajos de otro, pero cuando los hago yo no me terminan de gustar y puesto que el personaje está en la noche pues tenia este tono azul que hacia que todo se viera más oscuro.
Something that I usually do with my drawings at the end is to switch from SAI2, which is my favorite program for drawing, and I transfer them to Photoshop to add final touches that cannot be done in SAI.
Here I transferred it to Photoshop and what I did was increase the saturation of the color and accentuate another, I have a very colorful drawing style, I don't usually feel comfortable when the drawings have some lack of color when they are mine, I can see them in works from another, but when I make them I don't really like them and since the character is at night, it had this blue tone that made everything look darker.
La verdad le subí bastante a la saturación y es que me gusto como en las partes de sombras los colores resaltan y no es lo convencional, pero a mi me gusta así que así se queda jajaja.
The truth is I raised the saturation quite a bit and I liked how in the shadow parts the colors stand out and it's not conventional, but I like it so that's how it stays hahaha.
