Tenia tanto tiempo sin concursar en el mundo del dibujo, sin embargo, cuando el premio es tan bueno vale la pena intentarlo.
I hadn't competed in the world of drawing for so long, however, when the prize is so good it's worth trying.
Aquí les presento el proceso de mi dibujo para el concurso el cual la temática en la que se debe basar la idea es “Venezuela y el tiempo” puede interpretarse de la forma que quieras al realizar la obra.
Here I present the process of my drawing for the contest which the theme on which the idea should be based is "Venezuela and time" can be interpreted in the way you want when making the work.
The idea that occurred to me when putting these themes together was to make a futuristic Simon Bolivar together with the character of the Juana bread flour with the same idea of the future in an environment where a post-apocalyptic and desolate Venezuela is seen.
This drawing was a challenge for me, first I am not good nor have I practice drawing man, second I had never drawn this style that came up and lastly I have no practice drawing backgrounds, you can look for an idea that adapts to what you draw, but That's how I am. I like to complicate myself.
El boceto lo comencé completamente en digital, desde 0 en el programa de dibujo, suelo hacer al menos 3 bocetos para llegar al resultado final para comenzar.
I started the sketch completely digitally, from 0 in the drawing program, I usually make at least 3 sketches to get to the final result to start with.
This time the drawing would be without line art so once I had the final sketch I started to fill in color, each piece by layer. Once I had the base colors, I began to add details, light, shadow, depth.
When I get to the background part, I really needed to see a tutorial or something because I don't practice backgrounds (too bad of me because I have to learn) I follow an artist who draws backgrounds in a very beautiful way and uses a clean technique with simple brushes so thanks to following your advice the background came out half decent hahaha.
This was the first final result, although I was not completely convinced, I asked a friend for his opinion and he told me that he believed that something more representative was missing, so I put many colors alluding to the Venezuelan flag including that the sky had a sunset between yellow blue and red in addition to the stars that would be on the flag, finally, I added more shadows and lights to the characters so that they would have more presence and not be eaten up by the background.
Until I get to the final result which I quite like, when you draw it's good to listen to criticism and opinions because it helps you improve, although of course as long as they are constructive and not destructive criticism, I hope you liked my drawing and wish me luck.

Saludos, tu dibujo quedo espectacular y la verdad me encanto como fusionaste a Simón Bolívar y a Juana, tienes muy buena la creatividad para fusionar lo futuro con lo tradicional, pero te aconsejo que anuncies al final del post el programa que usas para hacer tus dibujos en digitales y colocas el link directo para que los curadores podamos apreciar tus publicaciones.
