RE: Eye Study - Pen Drawing

in Sketchbook2 years ago

Unlike those who draw with a pencil, you have no right to make a mistake😉
Cool work!
A pen on a white background looks much more contrasting than a pencil! can this style be called photorealism? looks very realistic!

When my daughter asks me to draw something, I usually put it on paper and trace it around. It's a pity that this trick won't work with the eye)😂😂

You are right. I am always more careful when I draw with pen than when I draw with pencil. In fact, drawing with pencil makes me feel like I am being held back and slows my mind down. So I prefer using pen.

Pen is a fantastic tool. The ink it generates makes make the work look brighter when compared with pencil which is charcoal. Not sure if it can be called photorealism but I always strive to do better than my previous.

Haha, well, you can start practicing without tracing. You never can tell how far you can go or how good you are until you try. The problem is that a lot of people are afraid of making mistakes hence, don't even give it a try.

It's hardly a fear of making mistakes. To each his own) I find it easier to use other skills. I prefer working with metal or wood.
According to my pragmatic reasoning, it is easier to make money with other skills. you can earn money by drawing, but then you need to devote a lot of practice time to this, which not everyone will be able to do.
Few people have the opportunity to find time to draw for the soul, for relaxation. They are probably happy😊

I got your point. You are right. It took me about 2 years of learning and practicing art before I could gain ground. Not everyone could endure or have that time.

And yeah, most sketches and drawings I do is from the soul. It is more of me expressing myself in whatever I feel at that moment.
