A 3d image created my me!
The 2d logo(A reference image)
Hey hivians, if you guys have been following up my posts, you would notice that i started up a series named Logos, which i would be creating the 3d version of every logo i can lay my hands on using a software named Blender(Version 2.82a), with my steps and illustrations shown, that sounds fun, yeah? definitely it is...well let us get straight to the point, shall we? yeah.
First of, i started with one my favourite mesh(object) know as the cube, scaling it along the x, y and z axis...an illustration below...
Next, with my mouse i clicked on two vertex, grabbing it down in respect to the z-axis, that been done, duplicated it from the original, dragging the duplicated mesh a few inch in respect to the y-axis...an illustration below...

Least i forget, a lot of shade smooth went on to smoothing the mesh.
After the creation of the very first mesh and its duplicate, i duplicated a lot more in different length and width, in respect to the y and z-axis, that gave me my short mesh, medium mesh, and long mesh...an illustration below...
Next was the creation of the projecting arrow, which the cube mesh was also used, but this time scaled in respect to x-axis...some rotation and duplication went on also, to get the projecting in almost perfect light. Using a new modifier which i learnt recently namely boolean, was able to merge the duplicated shapes together...an illustration below...
Creating the arrow head came as a lot of stress but never giving up, i nailed it. Using the cube mesh, i applied the sub-division modifier to give me access to work with more vertex, scaling the vertex to the x-axis mostly, and also a lot of manipulation went on...an illustration below...
Next, i joint the arrow using the boolean modifier...an illistration below...
After all, i added the materials, even though i know the colour didn't really look the same, lol...an illustration below...
...and the final render...
So, there we have it hivians, a 3d logo of the Remnant Fund company, follow up my page to get latest update on the Logos series...Least i forget, Remnant Fund is a hedge fund company.
