Desde que vi la segunda temporada de los Juegos del Calamar, he querido hacer un fan art del mismo, pero no me había dado un chance hasta ahora, está sencillo, aun así, el resultado me gustó mucho, espero les guste.

Primero comencé haciendo el boceto y ver como estaría distribuido los elementos, ya aquí sabía que el elemento central que quería era los hombres de mascará con círculo, haciendo la señal de correcto y la galleta con la forma de paragua, ya después me decidí agregar el juego Gong-Gi y la tarjeta de invitación al juego. Después de eso, solo hice las líneas limpias en las partes que la requería, como la figura del hombre, la del paraguas, las piezas del gong-gi y las formas del círculo, triángulo y cuadrado de la tarjeta.

Tras ello, el fondo lo pinté de un gris, para detallar mejor los colores; le agregué los colores bases a todas las figuras…

Para darles las sombras y luces, aquí si fui poco a poco, añadiéndolas primeramente a la figura del hombre, una sombra general, y de ese mismo tono de sombra, a la parte iluminada, le di en ciertas zonas, sombras, pero, como sentía que no quedaba bien, le agregué otra manera las sombras, creo que con esto se denotaba mejor los pliegues de la ropa. Ya después, vinieron los puntos de luz.

Algo que acotar, cuando estuve haciendo el lineart limpio, decidí hacer de una vez las formas de líneas blancas, que si el circulo de la mascara y de las piezas de gong-gi.

Con el casco, además de agregarle las sombras y luces, le añadí esa textura de líneas.

Así, sucesivamente, fui dando las sombras y luces a las demás figuras.

Con la tarjetica, si le agregué como una textura de papel con gramaje, para similar a la tarjeta original.

Ahora bien, con el fondo me ayudé de un pincel de krita que da esa sensación de sangre, por lo que en la parte inferior de la composición y con distintos tonos de rojo, le incorporé ese efecto de sangre. Para resaltar las figuras de las galletas y demás piezas, con un pincel difuminado, le di sombra.

A la parte gris del fondo, al inicio había escogido un pincel de manchas, para añadírselas en distintos tonos de gris, pero no me gustó, agregándole unas pincelas horizontales y eliminando un poco la zona de la sangre. Ah también le adicioné las figuras geométricas al fondo, en líneas blancas, siento que es lo que más destaca dentro del K-drama.

Luego, de darle unos toques de sombras y una capa de textura, superpuesta y bajada de opacidad, este sería el resultado.

Ever since I saw the second season of the Squid Games, I've wanted to make a fan art of it, but I hadn't given myself a chance until now, it's simple, even so, I really liked the result, I hope you like it.

First I started making the sketch and see how the elements would be distributed, and here I knew that the central element I wanted was the chewing men with circle, making the right sign and the cookie with the shape of umbrella, and then I decided to add the Gong-Gi game and the invitation card to the game. After that, I just made the clean lines in the parts that required it, such as the man figure, the umbrella figure, the gong-gi pieces and the circle, triangle and square shapes of the card.

After that, I painted the background in gray, to better detail the colors; I added the base colors to all the figures...

To give them the shadows and lights, here I went little by little, adding them first to the figure of the man, a general shadow, and in that same shade of shadow, to the illuminated part, I gave in certain areas, shadows, but, as I felt that it did not look good, I added another way the shadows, I think that with this the folds of the clothes were better denoted. Then came the points of light.

One thing to note, when I was doing the clean lineart, I decided to make the white line shapes at once, that if the circle of the mask and the gong-gi pieces.

With the helmet, in addition to adding the shadows and lights, I added that texture of lines.

In this way, successively, I gave the shadows and lights to the other figures.

With the card, I did add a paper texture with grammage, similar to the original card.

Now, with the background I used a krita brush that gives the sensation of blood, so in the lower part of the composition and with different shades of red, I incorporated that blood effect. To highlight the figures of the cookies and other pieces, with a blurred brush, I gave shadow.

To the gray part of the background, at the beginning I had chosen a stain brush, to add them in different shades of gray, but I didn't like it, adding some horizontal brushes and eliminating a little the area of the blood. Ah I also added the geometric figures to the background, in white lines, I feel that it is what stands out the most in the K-drama.

After a few touches of shadows and a texture layer, overlayed and lowered in opacity, this would be the result.
