This is a bit different and rare for me, where I am neither tense nor casual about something. The fact that I can submit a piece of work still in the act of completion and keep working on it later (of course it might not win) means I can keep perfecting it later. Of course aim is to try and give the completed work, but as I learnt from my teacher and friend Amit Varma, and as CWH and Dreemport highlight - 'perfection' is the enemy of 'done'.I am scared yet excited. It does not help that next three days are going to be hell in office thanks to the US holiday today and the resultant catch up. I should be petrified that I haven't started work but I have learnt of the 20% rule from @alessandrawhite So I am not going to tense up. I know my mind is upto something so i will let it time till tomorrow to simmer and then work out how I want to put pen to paper.
So this #dreemerforlife is not going to aim for perfection this week:)
Congratulations 🥳🥳
@brijwhiz you are the lucky winner of 100 Dreem Tokens for participating in Dreemport’s Bounty.
Thank you @amberkashif and #dreemport. Much appreciated.
I love what you pointed out here, @brijwhiz ...
That is so true. Always trying to reach that point of perfection, often prevents us from getting things done!
Thank you so much for your comment @jacoalberts. Unluckily my mind is still not got into this groove. I have been saying I will get it done and not worry, but last minute I still waited :( :) In the spirit of being kind to myself I am not stressing out, but it is still a journey for me to start doing the things I evangelize :)
That sounds like a problem that many of us are battling with, @brijwhiz 😅! But I'm glad you are not stressing out about it! As you say...it's a journey! And here at DreemPort, we want you to enjoy the journey!
Give it some time and you'll get into the groove!
