Soy madre de cuatro hijos, dos mujeres y dos hombres y de ellos tengo la hermosa bendición de ser la abuela de 8 nietos, cuyas edades oscilan entre los 2 y 13 años de edad.
Mis nietos tardaron en llegar, todas mis amigas se hicieron abuelas jóvenes, pero mis hijos formaron familias no tan a temprana edad, y sí les confieso que en algún momento me preocupé. Pero hay un dicho popular que reza: "Las mejores cosas de la vida se hacen esperar" y ciertamente así fue. Ellos cambiaron mi vida, que ya era buena, he vivido situaciones complicadas como todo el mundo, pero Dios me ha hecho gozar de buena salud, de buenos hijos y de fabulosos nietos.
I am the mother of four Sons and daughters , two women and two men, and I have the beautiful blessing of being the grandmother of 8 grandchildren, whose ages range from 2 to 13 years old.
My grandchildren were slow to arrive, all my friends became grandmothers young, but my children formed families not so early, and I confess that at some point I was worried. But there is a popular saying that goes: "The best things in life are made to wait" and they certainly were. They changed my life, which was already good, I have lived through complicated situations like everyone else, but God has made me enjoy good health, good children and fabulous grandchildren.

Carlos se llama mi esposo, estamos juntos desde hace 47 años. Ya estamos cerca de cumplir nuestra boda de oro. El tiene 78 años y aún está como un roble, es muy activo y creo que está exactamente igual desde que lo conozco, quizás otros noten mejor que yo que los años han hecho una gran metamorfosis en él, pero yo lo veo igual, quizás sea el amor que nos ha hecho permanecer tantos años juntos lo que no nos permite ver ni los defectos físicos ni los del alma.

"Que vivan con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia, soportándose unos a otros en amor".

En cuanto a qué vine a hacer a Hive Blog, pues diré que a mí edad cualquier cosa que me haga sentir que aún puedo dar más de mi, que aún puedo ser creativa y estar rodeada y ser inspirada por gente maravillosa que hace grandes aportes a la vida con lo que comparten día tras día, allí haré acto de presencia.
Me gusta dar paseos y apreciar las cosas que por lo general pasan desapercibidas frente a nosotros. Me imagino por un momento al Creador contemplando toda la belleza y esplendor que nosotros no llegamos a apreciar si no es a través de un acercamiento óptico del lente de una camara fotográfica. La vida está plagada de belleza, hay tanto que admirar y descubrir y yo me anoto en esta aventura.
As for what I came to Hive Blog to do, well I will say that at my age anything that makes me feel that I can still give more of myself, that I can still be creative and be surrounded and inspired by wonderful people who make great contributions to life with what they share day after day, I will make an appearance there.
I like to take walks and appreciate the things that usually go unnoticed in front of us. I imagine for a moment the Creator contemplating all the beauty and splendor that we do not get to appreciate if not through an optical approach of the lens of a camera. Life is full of beauty, there is so much to admire and discover and I sign up for this adventure.
Por otro lado soy bastante creativa, me gusta cantar, pintar, coser, ver televisión, hacer manualidades y cuidar mis plantas, (un regalo que me hizo mi hijo mayor al mudarse a su propia casa, me dejó todo un vivero en la mía y ahora soy yo quien cuida de él).
Estoy muy emocionada por lo mucho que tengo para dar. Quiero probar hacer cosas nuevas, no le tengo miedo a la edad, para mí es solo un número, a lo que le tengo miedo es a perderle propósito y pasión a la vida y ahora que en casa me sobran cuartos vacíos, también me sobra el tiempo para sacarle el mayor provecho.

I am very excited about how much I have to give. I want to try new things, I am not afraid of age, for me it is just a number, what I am afraid of is losing purpose and passion in life and now that I have plenty of empty rooms at home, I also have plenty of time to make the most of it.
Estoy ansiosa por explorar este maravilloso mundo de Hive Blog. Para mí es como un vida paralela. Quiero descubrir comunidades, hacer nuevos amigos, y empezar mis nuevos embates con la tecnología ya que subir cada post será todo un reto para mí, solo espero contar con el apoyo de ustedes para hacer de esta experiencia algo hermoso, divertido e inspirador para mis nietos.
