One thing I LOVE about art is the freedom it brings with itself. Everyone is free to create whatever they want and not give a care in the world. There are absolutely no limitations & no rules whatsoever & you can go as crazy or as obvious with your ideas. No right, no wrong, it just IS.
Anyway, today I was feeling quite adventurous and wild when I sat for this illustration. I found the most random selfie in my phone. (FYI, I am not big on selfies except for days when I get a little narcissistic lol) Whenever I let go of the worry of making good art, that's when my creative juices flow in the least obstructed manner. It felt like the perfect picture to experiment colors & styles. And yes, I tested SO many looks that I cannot even upload all of them here! 😂 But the gradient is my absolute favourite.
Also, the light reflections in some of them are just fantastic. Like in the accidental maroon one. The light hits the crop top in such a beautiful way! Maybe a little sexy? I don’t know! I tried some PS filters and posterized the gradient look too. It definitely reminded me of San Andreas for a sec there! :D
Anyway, it was a very good day art-wise and my mind is already bursting with ideas at this very moment. The possibilities of digital art just excite me every single day!
