Hola a todos, mi nombre es Ana Cristina, tengo 31 años. Nací en la ciudad de Maracaibo, Venezuela, caracterizada por un gran orgullo a su rica cultura. En el resto de país nos llaman “maracuchos” pero la verdad es que nuestro gentilicio correcto es “marabinos”. Soy la mayor de tres hermanos, Ángel Miguel y José María. Al ser la única hembra mis papás me decían que era la princesa de la casa. Mi infancia y adolescencia fueron felices, crecí en una ciudad pequeña de mí país llama Ciudad Ojeda, una de las primeras ciudades planificadas de Venezuela. Desde que nací conté con el apoyo de mis padres en todo momento y aún cuento con ellos, lo que agradezco profundamente.
Hello everyone, my name is Ana Cristina, I am 31 years old. I was born in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela, characterized by a great pride in its rich culture. In the rest of the country they call us "maracuchos" but the truth is that our correct gentilicio is "marabinos". I am the oldest of three brothers, Angel Miguel and José María. Being the only female, my parents used to call me the princess of the house. My childhood and adolescence were happy, I grew up in a small city in my country called Ciudad Ojeda, one of the first planned cities in Venezuela. Since I was born I had the support of my parents at all times and I still count on them, for which I am deeply grateful.
Me gradué como Médica Veterinaria en el 2014 en la ciudad de Maracaibo. Me dediqué a lo que en Veterinaria le llamamos grandes animales, que abarca bovinos y equinos. En mi caso sólo trabajaba con vacas, me encargaba de la parte productiva de la hacienda donde ejercía mis funciones. Todo lo que tenía que ver con la alimentación, manejo y producción de los bovinos era conmigo. También ayudaba a los otros veterinarios encargados de la parte reproductiva y clínica, ya esa parte la hacía más por pasión a mi carrera porque no era mi responsabilidad.
I graduated as a Veterinary Doctor in 2014 in the city of Maracaibo. I dedicated myself to what in veterinary medicine we call large animals, which includes cattle and horses. In my case I only worked with cows, I was in charge of the productive part of the farm where I performed my duties. Everything that had to do with feeding, handling and production of the cattle was with me. I also helped the other veterinarians in charge of the reproductive and clinical part, but that part I did more out of passion for my career because it was not my responsibility.
Hace 4 años tuve la oportunidad de venir a Brasil para realizar un trabajo en una hacienda que quedaba al norte del país, pero conseguí una oferta laboral mucho más prometedora en el sur. Así me quedé en este país maravilloso que me abrió las puertas. En otra oportunidad les cuento como fue todo el proceso. Actualmente trabajo en una granja de cerdos, es una producción totalmente diferente de la que estaba acostumbrada pero es un área que también me gusta y ejerzo con cariño.
Four years ago I had the opportunity to come to Brazil to work on a farm in the north of the country, but I got a much more promising job offer in the south. So I stayed in this wonderful country that opened its doors to me. In another opportunity I will tell you how the whole process went. Currently I work in a pig farm, it is a totally different production from what I was used to but it is an area that I also like and I work with love.
Tengo una hija de dos años, Amanda Cristina. Su nombre lo escogió su papá y yo concordé al saber que significaba “amada por todos”, lo que en realidad parece ser así porque quienes la conocen sienten bastante aprecio por ella.
I have a two-year-old daughter, Amanda Cristina. Her name was chosen by her dad and I agreed when I learned that it meant "loved by all", which actually seems to be the case because those who know her are quite fond of her.
La maternidad ha sido toda una experiencia de aprendizaje. Desde la lactancia, brotes de crecimiento, la introducción alimenticia, estímulos para su desarrollo, ufff… son tantas cosas de las que se puede aprender para hacer lo mejor por tus hijos. Además, tuve un desafío mayor con ella porque nació con un pequeño problema que con el tiempo les contaré. No se los voy a negar, he tenido días muy difíciles, pero lo importante es que los niños te hacen dar lo mejor de ti aunque estés en el fondo del pozo.
Motherhood has been a learning experience. From breastfeeding, growth spurts, food introduction, stimuli for her development, ufff... there are so many things you can learn from to do the best for your children. Besides, I had a major challenge with her because she was born with a little problem that I will tell you about in time. I am not going to deny it, I have had very difficult days, but the important thing is that children make you give the best of you even if you are at the bottom of the well.
Mis hobbies son las manualidades, hacer crochet, coser, macramé, pintar y hacer bisutería. Aunque desde que nació Amanda los tengo un poco olvidados, este año pienso retomarlos. Así que les aseguro que estaré compartiendo algunos de mis proyectos por aquí.
My hobbies are crafts, crochet, sewing, macramé, painting and making jewelry. Although since Amanda was born I have forgotten them a little bit, this year I plan to take them up again. So I assure you that I will be sharing some of my projects here.
Otra actividad que me gusta mucho, pero nunca la he desarrollado, es la fotografía. Espero algún día me atreva a aprender más de este mundo y sacarle más provecho a esa área. Lo bueno es que las fotos que verán en mis post la mayoría serán de mi autoría y pueden estar seguros de que me esforzaré para traerles imágenes de calidad.
Another activity that I like very much, but I have never developed it, is photography. I hope someday I dare to learn more about this world and get more out of this area. The good thing is that most of the photos you will see in my posts will be of my authorship and you can be sure that I will do my best to bring you quality images.
También tengo dos años que practico ballet en la ciudad donde vivo. Es algo que me gusta y ya nos hemos presentado varias veces en actos culturales en varias ciudades. Este año queremos entrar en un concurso de danza de la región, presentamos un video para la inscripción. Todo depende de la evaluación que recibamos para poder concursar. Deséennos suerte🙏.
I have also been practicing ballet for two years in the city where I live. It is something I like and we have already performed several times in cultural events in various cities. Conocí la plataforma por mi prima @estefania3 que ya tiene bastante tiempo creando contenido aquí, me pareció interesante y dije: ¿por qué no? Para mí es un desafío porque por lo general me cuesta expresarme y soy una persona muy cerrada. Mis objetivos creando contenido son mejorar mi comunicación y usarlo como una terapia para desestresarme del día a día. Espero contar con ustedes en este camino, un abrazo.
I found out about the platform through my cousin @estefania3 who has been creating content here for quite some time, I found it interesting and I said: why not? For me it is a challenge because I usually find it hard to express myself and I am a very closed person. My goals in creating content are to improve my communication and use it as a therapy to de-stress from the day to day. I hope to count on you in this journey, a hug.

El otro tip será que por favor, NUNCA hagas plagio, ni siquiera se te ocurra plagiar 50 palabras, Hive está repleto de personas dedicadas a cazar plagiadores y no existe forma de plagiar sin ser descubierto, además que apenas te descubran tu cuenta estará en la lista negra por siempre, así que cuídate de eso!
