Hello, my name is André, a 38 year old Frenchman who spends a good part of his time drawing and painting.
I live a good part of my life in Paris, working as a technician in front of a computer as an animation designer.
I left everything to live from my artistic skills rather than my technical skills, and looking for a new place to live.
During the lockdown, I took advantage of my free time, to make and sew my new home with the help of the precious french ultra-light hiking site : randonner-leger.org/
It is the tarp that serves me as a tent as well as a protection for my hammock.
Here is the spawned prototype, with a cheap construction tarp:
And the final version, made of cuben, the lightest material on the market, highly waterproof but quite expensive.
After a year of travel, I discovered Hive through @armandosodano.
I intend to share with you some of my experiences during this adventure as well as my creations of the moment in the hope that it may interest some of you.

He vivido buena parte de mi vida en París, trabajando como técnico delante de un ordenador, como animador 2D.
El 15 de mayo de 2021 lo dejé todo para vivir de mis habilidades artísticas.
Estoy buscando un nuevo lugar para construir mi vida.
Durante el segundo encierro covídico, aproveché mi tiempo libre para confeccionar y coser mi nuevo hogar, con la ayuda del precioso sitio francés de senderismo ultraligero: randonner-leger.org/
Esta es la lona que sirve de tienda de campaña y de protección para mi hamaca.
Aquí está el prototipo, con una lona económica:
Y la versión final, hecha de cubo, el material más ligero del mercado, muy resistente al agua pero bastante caro.

Questo è il telone che funge da tenda e da protezione per la mia amaca.

J'ai vécu une bonne partie de ma vie à Paris, travaillant comme technicien devant un ordinateur en tant que dessinateur d'animation.
Le 15 mai 2021, j'ai tout plaqué pour vivre de mes savoir-faire artistiques plutôt que de mes compétences techniques.
Je recherche un nouveau lieu pour construire ma vie.
