So Today I decided to participate in another Splinterlands contest. It is the SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge. Here is the link to the post:

I have only be playing Splinterlands for about 2 months maybe less. I struggled a lot in the beginning, but now after playing a lot I have started to understand it a bit and enjoying it.
Blast Entry - Main Character - The Ruler of the Sea!

I actually got this Max level OP The Ruler of the Sea card Recently. I saw a good deal on the market, but it was so expensive for a max level Ruler .
There were also 3 of them!!! .
I debated with myself so long... It was also late in the night. I knew I was not going to sleep properly if I did not make a decision... What if the card is sold by the time I woke up???
So I decided to buy it!
Then I went to sleep, when I woke up, the other 2 were also sold. Wow, it was a tough decision but I am glad I bought it. I am however unable to use a Level 4 Ruler at the moment, because my Alric is only Level 5... So sad... I will need to save up a lot to level up Alric to level 7.
So Here is the Line up!
Line Up: Mana 32 PERFECT!
If a Water Splinter is available, I always use it because it is my favorite Splinter!.
My Strategy!
- Alric Level 5: Adds +1 Magic damage to Magic Power Splinters
- Sea Monster level 6: Acts as a tank, whilst my Magic splinter blast away! Sea monster also heals itself so it can last longer. If it can take out the enemy in the first position even better!
- Furious Chicken: A shield for my Magic Power Splinters
- Phantom of the Abyss Level 2: Wow, this is another OP Water Splinter that I am trying to Level up, it has 7HP and 6 Speed, so it will protect the Ruler in case my Sea monster gets beaten.
Now, the main character!
= Ruler level 3: Too bad my Alric is too low level, so I can only use a Level 3 Ruler. However, it is still OP!
- Crust King level 6: He will be healing Sea monster and prolonging the defense whilst Ruler does his Work!
- Cant forget Pirate Archer level 5, also another Blast buddy to Ruler of the Sea. The two of them together can do a lot of ...
Blast Damage!!!
Did the strategy work? What will I try differently next time?
Yes, overall it worked. However, my opponent had splinters with lower levels and low HP, so the Blasts had a lot of effect:
You can see that Ruler's Magic Power Damage is 3 (+1 from Alric), so when it attacked, it took out the Living Lava along with the Furious Chicken. The Opponent's Tank was done, so only ranged Splinters were left, and now it is time for the Pirate Archer!
After a few exchanges, it was the Pirate Archer's turn, His Blast took out again another 1HP Splinters. So there was only 2 Ranged Splinters left, and the match was concluded soon.
The match would have been different if the opponent had higher level splinters, as the positioning was quite great. Thanks for the game and Maybe I will face you again.
I am planning to level up Alric when I get the budget so I can utilise the max power Ruler which will be Legendary!
Do I use BLAST often? Why or why not?
Yes, I blast often, if a water splinter is available, I use the Rule and Pirate Archer combo a lot!
The Blast can be OP especially if there is a strong tank!
There is also an OP Awesome Summoner, ZUKA, I get nervous whenever the opponent uses ZUKA. Still looking for counter till this day!

Thank you so much. My next plan is to level up Alric to level 7 or to look out for the untamed legendary water splinter. Need to budget .
