We didn't have a lot of snow in the winter, so I didn't get many chances for doing any nice photography outdoors. As a happy surprise, now in the start of April we've had quite heavy snowfall, probably more than entire January + February snowfall combined.
Some were delighted, but as the spring has kind of already started, many were disappointed.
To find out what nature thinks about this sudden snowfall, I went out and took photos of some plants and asked for their opinion on the sudden return of the winter.
"It sucks, I'm cold."
"I can't stand it anymore!"
"Personally? All this snow has been very heavy for me."
"I can handle it, but not about the smaller ones."
"Fuck you!"
"Help me buddy, I'm stuck!"
"This is literally the worst day of my life. Because of the quarantine, I can't even meet my therapist. I feel so depressed."
"What snow? Haha, it doesn't bother me."
"The snow makes me feel stressed."
"I feel so isolated."
"Snow is so beautiful. I wish I didn't have any snow on my hair, though."
"I'm not a plant, but I kind of love the snow, but still ain't happy about this."
"How many biology classes have you skipped? I'm ice, not a plant.
I accept the snow, but the sun makes me weep."
"Please let me die already."
"I can't do this. I'm not strong like the others."
"We're in this together. We're a community of branches.
I wish the snow goes away."
"Not sure what everyone else is complaining about. I'm ok with this."
"Boo, I'm a ghost!
...
Ok you can take the snow off me now."
"Holy shit, how did you find us? We're hiding under the blanked of snow."
"I don't mind. But I would be happy if it all melts real quick."
Based on the polls, most plants aren't too happy about the sudden heavy snowfall. Based on this, I've made some instructions for the winter:
- Snow is acceptable from December till March
- Melt away before or during April
- Please come see us in the future, we don't want our winters to be snow-free.
Nature enjoying itself - does not matter to it if we like or not 🤓
