What a marvelous universe we live in. Our ability to think and understand the workings of this spectacular celestial body is truly an amazing thing, especially when you consider that it was all brought about by nothing more than the random combination of atoms into molecules and so on up to complex life forms such as our own selves. I'm sure that many people have told you before but really, it's staggering just how lucky we are to be able to exist at all.
But it's not just the sheer luck that we exist at all in this vast #universe. It's also the fact that, unlike most other things and creatures on earth, our brains are capable of understanding what is happening around us and to us. We can understand why there is a world around us at all, how it came about and where #humanity fits into everything.
And yet, so often we fail to appreciate this. We fail to look at the #world around us and understand how lucky we are to be a part of it all.
We can look at our lives from the outside and appreciate just how lucky we are to exist in this vast universe. Lucky that we're not mindless beings, spinning around on a rock until it eventually burns out or gets knocked into space by another planetary body.
But there are many people who don't realize how lucky they are to be alive, and instead complain about every little thing that's wrong in their lives. Look at yourself, you say you hate your life. But why? What is so bad about it?
You are a lucky person. You live in a universe where you can think and understand things. Most things and creatures don't have a clue as to what's going on around them. They are completely oblivious to their existence or non-existence - they just live their lives. And then there's us. We can look at our lives from the outside and appreciate just how lucky we are to exist in this vast universe.

We may be the most intelligent creature on the planet but then, we are also responsible for where we are today.
