The amount of new ponds being dug in our district at present suggests that after five to ten years there will be no land to cultivate in our district. One of the major reasons why people are not able to cultivate paddy at the wheat party even if they want to is because of the large number of ponds being dug in every village of our district, especially in Gangni Thana.
More than 3-4 ponds are dug in a day, which is reducing the amount of land in our union, so that people can earn a lot of money. It is bringing good and bad for our country and nation from one side to the other because we can see the good. If we look at the people who are able to earn more money in a very short time and then look at the bad, we can see that they are not able to produce their essential food items like rice, wheat, jute etc. Vegetables can be grown only on the banks of the pond, which does not require much effort for vegetables, but rice and wheat are no longer on the banks of the pond. Due to which consent is required for these but it can be said that the amount of land in the villages of the unions of our district has almost decreased. Due to which the amount of food is increasing day by day where the price of paddy is going up to Rs. In order to avoid these problems, we must cultivate paddy and jute, which is necessary to reduce the digging of ponds every day.
One of the benefits of digging ponds is that people can earn a lot of money in a very short period of time which plays a very important role in turning the wheel of economy for their family and country because a country develops only when its economy is good so it produces fish. People are able to deal with the problems of their economy very easily.
