Hello everyone! Good morning from this time zone. If you’re not in same time zone with me, good afternoon, or good evening which ever it is.
My name is Bobby. I’m from Port Harcourt Nigeria. I am an IT guy (networking), and I must say, life behind the computer everyday exploring the internet searching for possible solutions to already existing issues or possible recommendations to issues that might transpire later is always jolly and fun.
Imagine a situation where you’re that guy they have to call when the firewall of a firm has been breached or servers having compromising issues. It’s always an amazing feeling walking up into an organization with so much confidence and saving them their troubles just like a superhero would to the world. Up to a point, I felt I wasn’t really communicating with the outside world and I wasn’t enjoying that life no more. Because i realized I didn’t have no friends around where I could actually go out and have a drink or see a movie with. All my friends were online and not in the same country as I am or probably in a different state. Family members also complaining how the computer was making me a recluse.
So with all of that going through my mind; I decided to switch gears and change lanes to a different direction by becoming a freelancer, an adventure and a content creator. I must say it wasn’t easy making the switch and trying to connect with people who haven’t been seeing a perspective of life from behind a computer screen. But ever since I made that switch, I realized there’s more to life than previewing it from behind a computer screen. Along the line of my adventure and curiosity of learning new things of the world, but this time not behind a computer, was when I met @Futureotosman and he said he was going to introduce me to an incredible online platform with an awesome environment that will keep me on the roll and connect me to people with mutual likes and intellect as me. I must say I am happy to be here to share my experiences, read and learn from others, and most importantly connect with people because technology ages but good connections don’t.
