It's indeed a wonderful Monday here at Hive where a new bee just arrived!
Greetings everyone!
Today, I am officially part of the community. I am so grateful that I landed here on a bright Monday morning. I never thought that one day, someone will bring me here.
This blog will solely be an introduction of myself as a new bee in Hive.
Let's start with my username. Why BreadChamp? You might be thinking if I once become a champion just by eating bunches of bread or am I a lover of bread that's why I picked that username. Well, you got it wrong. Funny but I formulated my username out of the fact that I am the breadwinner of our family. I find it awkward to use the exact term so I just replaced the word "winner" with "champ". It may be weird for some but me, it's cute like me. Kidding aside.
Enough with that, now let's now uncover the reality of who BreadChamp is and what her life looks like. You will get to know also the family I came from.
I am the third eldest of six siblings in the family. I have an older brother and an older sister and three younger brothers. Both my parents are unemployed but that never became a reason for them not to send us to school.
My older brother just recently got a job after a long time but his salary can barely support his own needs because of his vices.
My older sister already has her own family. Initially, after she graduated from college, she was supposed to go abroad for work. It has always been her dream to work in New Zealand but she chose to start her family instead. She got pregnant months after she graduated and now I have two handsome nephews.
My three younger brothers are still attending school; one in college, one in senior high school, and one in primary school.
I am currently working as a call center agent in the city of Cebu. And I am the breadwinner of the family as I mentioned earlier.
I am fully aware that I am packed with so many responsibilities because I am the only person who supports my family. Nevertheless, I am grateful that I can provide for them.
Even though I have many things to think and worry about like my personal goals in life, education, and career-wise, I have always put my family's needs as my top priority.
Once in a while, I reward myself with short vacations to the neighboring towns or places. Last week, I went to Bohol for a five-day vacation. I've been wanting to visit that place because I wanted to visit the famous chocolate hills. And I cannot wait to share my experience there.
Before ending this blog, I would like to say thank you to ate @zbabe for introducing this platform to me.
Now, I can freely and confidently share my journeys and adventures from different places with you.
I am happy to be here. Can't wait to show you the beauty of nature I've been to,!
