Hola hiver’s! Esta es mi primera publicación y vamos a ver qué tal me va… Mi nombre es Catalina, Tengo 33 años. Soy Hija de padre mexicano y madre venezolana, nací y me crié en México hasta la edad de 19 años, siempre con la cultura y el toque venezolano presente en mi día a día.

Hello hiver's! This is my first publication and let's see how it goes... My name is Catalina, I am 33 years old. I am the daughter of a Mexican father and a Venezuelan mother, I was born and raised in Mexico until the age of 19, always with the Venezuelan culture and touch present in my day to day life.

De pequeña siempre viaje a Venezuela a visitar a mi familia materna unos años si y unos no, a la edad de 19 años después de la separación de mis padres, mi madre decide volver a su tierra y buscar el calor de hogar con sus dos hijas (Mi hermana y yo) desde ese entonces hace ya casi 15 años resido en Venezuela, no puedo negar que al principio me fue muy difícil adaptarme, pero con el tiempo me adapte y actualmente amo Venezuela a pesar de la situación.

As a child I always traveled to Venezuela to visit my mother's family some years and some not, at the age of 19 years after the separation of my parents, my mother decided to return to their land and seek the warmth of home with her two daughters (My sister and I) since then almost 15 years ago I live in Venezuela, I can not deny that at first it was very difficult to adapt, but eventually I adapted and now I love Venezuela despite the situation.

Volviendo un poco atrás, como viví y me crie en México allá la educación es un poco diferente a la de Venezuela y se conforma así: de 3 a 6 años (3 años de Pre-escolar), de 6 a 12 años (6 años de Primaria) de 12 a 15 años (3 años de Secundaria) y de 15 a 18 (3 años de Preparatoria/Bachillerato) por lo cual a la edad de 18 años me graduó de bachillerato, y decido estudiar Ing. En informática en la Universidad de Guadalajara ubicada en el estado de Jalisco – México, y a los seis meses la dejo ya que es cuando mi madre decide que nos venimos para Venezuela.


Going back a little bit, as I lived and grew up in Mexico the education there is a little different than in Venezuela and it is conformed as follows: from 3 to 6 years (3 years of Pre-school), from 6 to 12 years (6 years of Primary) from 12 to 15 years (3 years of Secondary) and from 15 to 18 (3 years of High School) so at the age of 18 years I graduated from high school, and I decide to study Eng. In computer science at the University of Guadalajara located in the state of Jalisco - Mexico, and after six months I leave because that is when my mother decides that we come to Venezuela.

Una vez que llegamos a Venezuela empieza el proceso de la re-valida de los papeles de bachillerato en México para así poder iniciar la universidad. Mientras se lograba ese proceso y para no quedarme de ociosa sin hacer nada decidí realizar algunos cursos de diseño gráfico los fines de semana y/o cursos virtuales a través de distintas plataformas por internet. En ese periodo en agosto del año 2006 se me da la oportunidad de entrar a una imprenta y trabajar en el área de diseño (Trabajo que conservo hasta el día de hoy). Transcurridos 6 meses del proceso de re-validación de papeles logro ingresar a la universidad a estudiar Ing. En Informática en la Universidad Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (UGMA) Núcleo Ciudad Bolívar en la cual culmino mis estudios años más tarde.

Once we arrived in Venezuela, the process of re-validating my high school diploma in Mexico began in order to be able to start college. While this process was going on and in order not to stay idle without doing anything, I decided to take some graphic design courses on weekends and/or virtual courses through different internet platforms. During that period in August 2006 I was given the opportunity to join a printing company and work in the design area (a job I still have today). After 6 months of the process of re-validation of papers I managed to enter the university to study Computer Engineering at the Universidad Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (UGMA) Núcleo Ciudad Bolivar in which I finished my studies years later.

En el ámbito personal me considero una persona alegre, luchadora, responsable y muy positiva. Pero a la vez tímida e introvertida, todo depende en el sitio que este y con quien este. Entre mis gustos me gusta estar en paz y tranquilidad, sentada en mi computadora, escuchando música navegando en la red, y buscando infinidad de cosas.
No me considero gamer, pero no puedo negar que a veces cuando me pego con un juego, lo juego hasta que me canso. Mi afición siempre ha sido la tecnología, las computadoras, el diseño gráfico, el internet y todo lo que se deriva de esto por lo cual siempre trato de estar en constante aprendizaje y actualizándome, fue así como conocí a una persona que me recomendó esta red social y por la cual estoy acá.


On a personal level I consider myself a cheerful person, fighter, responsible and very positive. But at the same time shy and introverted, it all depends on where I am and who I am with. Among my tastes I like to be in peace and quiet, sitting at my computer, listening to music, surfing the net, and looking for a lot of things.
I don't consider myself a gamer, but I can't deny that sometimes when I get stuck with a game, I play it until I get tired. My hobby has always been technology, computers, graphic design, the internet and everything that derives from this so I always try to be constantly learning and updating myself, that's how I met a person who recommended me this social network and why I'm here.
