ABOUT ME
Hello Hive! I'm Clement by name, populary called 'Clem' by my friends. I'm a 26 year old medical student at the University of Nigeria.
MY LOCATION
I live in the city of Enugu, located in the southeastern part of Nigeria. It is known as the coal city because of its richness in coal deposits, back in the day. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the southeastern part of Nigeria, with industries including- urban market and bottling industries. Also a major filming location for directors of the Nigerian movie industry, popularly known as 'Nollywood'.
MY PERSONALITY
I have an inquisitive personality, always wanting to know more. More of an introvert than extrovert, however I'm often found in-between, most of the times. I love teamwork, as I believe that together we achieve more. Although I believe in hard work, I also believe in working smart. Doing the work with wisdom is what makes it a smart work; something I learnt in med school.
WHAT I LIKE
Music
I enjoy music in it's entirety. It was something I developed right from childhood. As a child, I would often sing different songs while doing the house chores. No matter how unpleasant the chores were, the fact that I sang alongside made me forget how unpleasant they were. One of the reasons I love the movie, High school musicals.
Because of this love for music, I joined the choir when I was 13, started learning how to play the keyboard as soon as I got the opportunity. Even though the schedule of med school is very tight, once I got the opportunity, I started learning the guitar (not too long ago).
Playing Chess
Growing up I loved playing video games generally, like Grand theft, Winning eleven, PES, and others.
But recently I developed a more deeper love for online chess, such that no matter how busy my schedule is, I almost always must make out time to play the game. I love it especially because it challenges me to think.
Reading and writing
This was very true until med school happened. Having to devot almost everyday to reading academic books and articles, preparing for one test or the other, got me used to and tired of reading.
However, I still love reading some extracurriculars, especially self development books and creative writings. Sometimes I also love putting down my thoughts in creative writings.
Movies
Oh! I also love seeing movies! I just can't wait for the next 'Avatar the last airbender', 'Rebel moon', 'House of dragon (Game of thrones)'.
One of my favourite actors is Dwayne Johnson, I like that guy.
HOW DID I GET HERE?
I got to know about Hive from my wonderful friend @graat who introduced me to this wonderful platform, alongside @chuksmeezy, my good friend. They didn't just get me to know about this platform, but they've also been there to put me through and help me navigate the peculiarities of this new environment.
I remain forever grateful to them for introducing me into this new world where I can easily rob minds with people around the world. Where I can learn, unlearn and relearn. Where I can share my thoughts and make my words heard.
WHY I'M HERE
Having been introduced to Hive, I went ahead to join because I see it as a place where I can learn and grow. A place where I can share my thoughts, ideas, and experiences to inspire others. A place where I can also get inspired to do more, by others.
