Hive is a Desire and longing that has just come through for me
A very warm greetings to everyone on this Hive platform. It's with joy and great pleasure that I drop my first post here, so, I would love to introduce myself to this amazing, wonderful and great family called Hive.
My name is Daniel Rabba, but I will prefer to be called Danrabs on this platform. Danrabs is more or less of a social name (nickname), which I coined for myself, right from my university days. Now, it may interest you to know that the name Danrabs was coined from my first name and surname. "How?"may be the question on your minds right now. If you pick the first 3 letters of my first name and add the first 3 letters of my surname, you will get Danrab. However, not to forget the love of a mother to her child, I decided to pick the first letter of my sweet mother's name "Sarah" and add to the initial name to give me Danrabs, and with this, i have a sense and feeling of my mom's love, care, support and above all her prayers for me daily anywhere I go and in anything I do. This was how the name Danrabs came to bare, and I love the name so very much and I can only hope my new family members (Hive) will love and accept the name Danrabs. 🥰😊 I will be celebrating my 32nd birthday on the 4th of June, this year. I am a slim skinny and tall guy with a sweet black complexion. Although I'm not too tall as I measure about 1.5.
My Original
I am a Mada boy from a small village called Gbunchu in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, in North Central Nigeria. Yes! Am a proud 9ja boy to the core with a good sense of patriotism. I'm resident in Akwanga town, off Wamba road to be precise.
I am a Christian with a strong belief in God. I love God without reservations and I pursue Him without breaks, with a reverencia fear for Him in my heart. My favourite quote in the fate is " Only Grace Knows the Way"
Education and Career
I'm a professional and certified teacher currently serving with the Nasarawa State Teachers Service Commission (NSTSC) as a class teacher in Government Senior Secondary School Akwanga South (GSS Akwanga South) as a teacher of English in SS2 and SS3. and I do this with job with utmost passion and love for my students.
Furthermore, it is said that there are only 2 universities in Nigeria, Ahmadu Bello University and others. I like to inform you that I'm a proud graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, (ABU) where I studied and obtain my B.ed Language Arts (English). I can't close this chapter without telling you that an Abusite is always ahead of you. 😊🥰😊. As an educationist, teaching and learning new things has become part and parcel of me and this has led me to this Hive community because I was told that one can get to learn new things here and get to even socialize better with family members and friends. Aside my profession, I run a little clothing business, where I try to cloth some persons who have interest in good fashion, and have a nice sense of styles. For now, the business is still trying to find it feet as it's something I started early this year.
Hobbies and Interests
My hubbies are; travelling, I have traveled to the six regions in Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. I love listening to good music (9ja Afro beats, hip pop, and R&B), cooking. This is one of my hubbies as a result of my love for food. But I have reservations/limits when am out of the house or in public.🥰😊 Sporting, I play badminton 🏸 a lot, as a matter of fact, that's where I spend most of my free times in the evening and it help me to relax. I love movies and my favorite movie as at now, is The Last Ship I love fashion and fashion is creative. I'm fashion-centric and enthusiastic about fashion but not lavishly into it. Looking good they say is good business, but in my little boutique, we say " looking good keeps you emotionally, psychologically, sociologically, physically and mentally balance"
Furthermore, I love and have a great respect and regards for family. In everything I do, I believe family comes first and family is forever. I am from a family of 6 and am the 4th born. I have 2 elder sister, 1 elder brother and 2 younger brothers. My love for family is one of the things that spur me to join Hive, knowing that Hive community is a big family.
Turn ons
In Things Fall Apart, which happens to be my favorite novel, Chinua Achebe said and I quote "proverbs are the palm oil with which words are eaten" I coined this to say, perfumes and Colons are the palm oil we use to eat fashion" which means, perfumes and Colons are very essential in fashion and they complement fashion.
I love to smell nice, and no two ways about it, if you smell nice, you will get me tripping for you 😘😊🥰
If you dress well, look clean and nice with a little sense of humanity and humor, Omo, you be my gee for life 💯.
If you have a forgiving spirit, like you can let things go easy and still maintain a good and Healthy relationship with people who upset and hurt you, trust me, I'm 100% in love 💖💝with you, because there's one of my favorite Chinese quote which says " 以眼还眼会让世界变得盲目 " meaning: an eye for an eye will make the world go blind.
Needles to say, that the opposite of all the above is a turn off for me.
I'm a sapiophile, so, I detest ignorance, foolishness and lawlessness.
Conclusion
One good thing about me is that, I take my self development personal and I could be very committed to anything that will help to improve and develop me, be it educationally, financially, socially entrepreneurly spiritually and otherwise. This is the major reasons why I join Hive because I was told that Hive is a very good platform to explore and I am looking forward to having a great and nice time time with everyone on this platform.
Lastly, I must say that I'm absolutely astonished and privilege to be part of this family Hive Community, and I want to appreciate @adaezeinchrist for bringing me into Hive platform. I just can't wait to get to know everyone on this Hive community and to learn and improve myself where need be. I also have @chidistickz to thank Elephantly for putting me through on what you have just read thus far, which is going to serve as my introductory post.
