It's been a while...

in OCD2 years ago

I didn't think that it will take me this long to write on Hive again. My last post was dated March last year. 2021 seemed so far away. Now, we're a couple of weeks away from 2023.

From the almost two-year hiatus, I have so many things to share with you. From that 365 day artwork challenge that I didn't even finish to the business venture I was eyeing to pursue, I bet it will be worth a series of posts. 🌟

The last two years is a roller coaster ride to say the least. All the ultimate ups and downs happened during that period, and it's exhilarating to finally get a glimpse of the fruits of my (little) patience (that I managed to stretch out until today. whew.)

So, what's new and what's still going with @debilog:

Digital Art

My digital art journey started when I fumbled around Photoshop 5 yrs ago. I formally (re)started when I purchased a Wacom drawing tablet 2 yrs ago. I posted it here.

A little over a year ago, I finally saved enough money to buy an iPad. I downloaded Procreate and this has been the drawing app I use since then.

Recently, I met with my friends over coffee, and we did a collab drawing of an eye! Here's @erangvee 's version of it by the way. Below, is our (Z and my) version which we drew for around 3 hours! Crazyyy:

Here's the timelapse on my YouTube shorts:

Coffee

I was looking for additional side hustle and part of it includes a plan of setting up a business.

Long story short, I built an online coffee delivery shop last year while I was working from home, which I had to close again because we were asked to return to office earlier this year. I might go in to detail about this on a separate post.

In the meantime, I use my time and my espresso machine to practice some latte art. [Disclaimer: still couldn't make a decent one.]

ofc I had to buy proper coffee glasses! 😄

New Job

I landed a new job that lets me work from home permanently! 🖤 This is still unfamiliar territory, but this is what I was praying for. Being uncomfortable is one of the signs that I want to grow.

Oops. Yeah. For the money as well. Definitely.

Pretty New and Old Hobbies

And here's some of my new and old hobbies

  • Reading Isekai Manhwas and Tarot Cards
  • Binge-watching K-dramas and K-Variety Shows
  • Watching Wholesome Anime Shows
  • Travelling!
  • Playing Badminton (even if I'm a table tennis girl)

This section deserves its own post before I start spewing "Transit in Love" and "Spy x Family" nonsense.

My throat is getting itchy, and I hope that I didn't get the holiday flu so I'm ending this post a couple of paragraphs short.

Nice to be back. It's been a while Hive friends. ⭐️ ひさしぶり ---

Hey @debilog welcome back, we've missed you 😀

Looks like you've spent the time well and accomplished a lot during this period, which is good. A lot has changed on Hive too as we've been busy too 😄 so let me drop you a few suggestions to help you navigate better on our platform.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. OCD community is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse!

I hope it helps and please let me know if you need more help :0

Oops my bad. got it. Thanks for the info. :)

Wait, that was to inform you, not to make you feel bad 😀 You didn't do anything wrong as there's no community for comeback posts.

Welcome back @debilog

I see you have been up to a lot and I’m very proud of you for taking it upon yourself to develop yourself and also achieve your goals.

Thank you!

You’re welcome.

Congratulations @debilog! You received a personal badge!

Happy Hive Birthday! You are on the Hive blockchain for 5 years!
