Hello everyone!
I`m gonna share with you our trip we made today. I woke up 5am in the morning so that I could prepare myself for the trip.
The Breakfast....
First off ...we went to the Humba Haven where we ate our breakfast there. Our breakfast had been puto and sikwate, popular and common food here in Cebu. It was a very yummy breakfast because the puto (sweets like sponge cake & sikwate, hot chocolate were served hot. And this pair always fits the weather when it´s very cold and foggy. For Cebuanos, these are two words associated with eating or drinking something in the morning: painit (snack) and pamahaw (breakfast).
Painit, which literally means something to warm the stomach, is the food or drink that is consumed before the real meal. Pamahaw, on the other hand, is the breakfast itself. Puto is one of the best delicacies here in Cebu.
"Buwakan ni Alejandra"
After our breakfast, we had a long ride going to Balamban. It was terribly cold and the streets were foggy. I was shiveering because I got a wrong clothing and had been wearing shorts, And then we went to the garden world called Buwakan ni Alejandra (Flowers of Alejandra). It was raining when we arrived there. The entrance fee they asked there was 50 Pesos only.
We enjoyed it there because the place is very beautiful. I love nature and all that´s there is to it ... coz it’s really a lovely place to be and it has many different flowers and one could get mesmerized and dream of a fairytale place like this. Of course we took pictures too. It was so muddy and I was damning it because I did not expect it that the grounds were muddy. . My feet got dirty and so messy.
Buwakan ni Alejandra is basically one big flower garden. The garden is conveniently located on the Cebu Transcentral Highway, an hour away from Cebu City proper. Buwakan ni Alejandra, reminds us of our need to reconnect and revitalize our souls by being one with nature. With windy breezes and bright skies, standing amidst a flower garden is a perfect getaway, and a perfect escape.
I had so much fun with our trip today. It was a productive day indeed!!! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
