We are back!
I am happy to announce that the Deranged Photography Contest is back! There will be a few changes from the previous contest.
- Due to time constraints, the contest will go back to being weekly.
- I will no longer be running the contest from the @derangedcontest account. This decision was made because I have more of a following on my main account, so the contest will get more exposure from this account.
- Rewards for the contest will also be changing and there will only be two tiers (pro and amateur).
- I may tweak this over the next week or two until I am happy with how the contest will be set up.
Animals
This week's theme is ANIMALS. It does not have to be a wild animal. It can be a pet, a stray animal, it just has to be an animal. The more creative you are with your entry, the more of a chance you have of winning. Use elements of framing, good lighting, and try and tell a story through your image.
How is the Deranged Photography Contest set up?
The contest is broken up into 2 different tiers. Each will have a different rewards for the winners based on what tier you enter into.
Here is a breakdown of the rewards based on the tiers:

Each contest will be open for submissions for 6 days and close on the 7th day so that winners can be picked and the new post can be made.
There will be a new theme announced each week. I am hoping to have the whole year planned out and will be able to have that posted for you all to prepare images for the contest.
How to enter
When you enter a photo in the competition, you will state what tier you want to be judged in and locked in for the month at that level.
For example if you enter a photo, you drop the photo in the comment section, state what level of photographer you are, and then give a description of the photograph.
OCD Community and make your post to the OCD Community. You can join the OCD Discord and be a part of our discord community by clicking the link.That's pretty much it, drop a photo in the comment section of this post and state your tier. If you want to make a separate post for your entry as well, that is fine, but for your entry to be valid, your photo and tier must be in here in the comment section of this post. If you do make a separate post, be sure to use the #creativecoin and #oc tags. You are also encouraged to join the
Additional Notes
Only one submission per contest. Extra submissions will be ignored.
You can switch your tier ONE time per month, but only if you are moving up into a higher tier, for example if you are currently in the amateur tier, but you think that you have a photograph that you want to enter in the professional tier, you can state that you are changing your tier to professional. You will then be locked into the new tier for the remainder of the month. You are not able to move down to a lower tier, like going from amateur to the beginner tier.
If you do not state which tier you want to be judged in for the month, I will leave a comment to remind you to do so, but if you don't respond, you will be assigned to a tier and locked in for that month.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated in any form. All submissions must be your own work. I will investigate every entry and if you are caught plagiarizing, not only will you be blacklisted from competing from any future contests, but you will be reported to @steemcleaners as well.
You are encouraged to share your posts on social media sites like Twitter, Instagram, etc. If you do so, use the #posh tag on your post and share the link of your share in the comment section of your post for a chance for extra curation from curation projects that are curating posts that are promoting Steem to sites outside of the blockchain.

This is my puppy Mono, (Monkey), that's what the blond-haired are called in Colombia.
Beginer tier.
This is Rusty. We took care of him 3 times already and will do again in may this year. I love this dog, he is awesome but the most stubborn dog I know. He was sitting there while my girlfriend was preparing dinner and patiently waiting for a little treat. The most important things in Rustys life is food and belly rubs.

I would like to join this contest under the amateur tier.
This is a photo of my cat name thumberlina. We called her thumber. I got her from a friend and she is a very naughty cat but one thing that made us love her so much is that, she seem to be an understanding cat.
She also took care of our little girl while she is still small and often save her from all the bugs that come near her.
Though she is currently playful with our almost 2 years old daughter, and sometimes left a scratch on her skin, my daughter still love her so much nad the first word she pronounce quite alright other than mommy and papa is...

Amateur for sure. I don't even know the name of this thing but I know it is a rodent. I saw it at an indoor zoo I went to with my family and it seemed all it did was sleep. Maybe it is nocturnal ( LOL why have it at a zoo).
