Fighting isn't always the greatest option, even if it feels great at times.
Especially when we are assured of our position.
Let's not let our wrath spill over into the night.
Try to see it from a new perspective before going to bed.

It may make a lot of sense: if we have to choose between being correct and being pleasant, lovely may have a lot more worth than good, a difficult-to-understand but universally recognized truth.

Trying to understand another point of view does not require us to abandon what we already know, but it may soften your stance and enlighten you, as well as the person you were fighting.
