I recently wrote about the level of activity on the Steem blockchain, and how it had begun to drop since the acquisition by hewhoshallnotbenamed. Basically, Steem was a solid top ten blockchain according to Block'tivity but had started to drop in the table, mostly due to some Dapps being taken offline in protest (I expect from what I eas reading at the time). Also, Hive wasn't even in the top 40 at the time...
Now, 3 weeks later the story is of a completed reversal. Steem? Not even there! Hive? Here we are in 16th position. The reason? Well the Dapps are migrating, this is great news and makes me more confident about the chain. I feel like the close-knit community village has upended itself to a safer place from the civil war shithole that was being carved out before. They were not great times. Uncertainty was rife.
Better times ahead! I can't wait to see what the clever people of this space come up with and how the chain can really start to live up to its real potential.
So good to see. This place is going to start rocking soon now we are free of all the dead weight.
