Hello everyone on hive, I am Johnson Samuel, still a student studying in Nigeria. I have knowledge of coding to some extent, and other science related subjects too-- I'm not a scholar though😅🥲. I have lived two decades-- technically, I'm 20 years old, and an introvert [ I prefer writing than talking-- people say it's weird but that's what I'm more comfortable with].
My hobbies.
I love reading articles, novels, and books that are crypto- related. I also love to solve ordinary differential equations and calculus, and watch movies so basically my posts won't be far from that. Least I forget, I also love to play Mobile games especially first person shooter games like call-of-duty, and pubg and that's where i got the nickname -- The Tempest 🥷🥷🥷.
How I got to know peakd/Hive?
Recently, I aspired to delve into cryptocurrencies subsequent to viewing numerous videos and reading various articles on the internet. However, as I was often advised, to conduct personal research before diving into anything. So, I embarked on a quest to gain further insight on decentralization and web3, which I consider to be inter-woven, because you can hardly talk about one without the other. While searching Twitter, I came across the account "Hive Blocks" which, as mentioned in my initial post, aligned perfectly with what i was researching on. And that was what got me reading the tweets there too, and somehow, led me to reading about the history of peakd generally of which I got a better understanding of genuinely decentralized platforms.
Why I joined Hive?
I regard this as an opening to convey myself to people with my writing as I have constantly done in the past, I additionally see this as an opportunity, to make new friends across the world and i believe by doing so, i will see similarly minded people like myself, to follow while also attempting to have a constructive and positive impact here as well.
I have read that literary theft is against hive rule, and I will ensure that I don't plagiarize in any way in any of my posts. I am also still reading more, so that i can become a good author here on hive and I'm currently learning how to format too so my work looks more presentable.
I hope I am accepted with open arms by the Hive network. Thank you for reading my introduction post, My gratitude also extends to @lovesniper and @indayclara for the tips on how to proceed with my first official post.
Do have a nice day😇😇
