So an introductory post, yeah?
Whenever someone says, "Tell me about yourself", I usually freak out a little on the inside. Because what do I say? What do I not say? What if I don't say everything? Lol
I'll try though. Here are some things I feel like you should know about moi;
I am officially known as Adaugo Isabella Nwachukwu, but my friends call me Dudu. I am a Christian and a patriotic Nigerian (at least I like to think so🙂).
I am 22 years old--I won't even lie. It took me a few seconds to recall my age😭😭. I'm curious, does this happen to anyone though? Or is it just me?
Anyway! I like reading novels, travelling and spending time with my friends and family members. I am a people person. It's not like I'm overly social or anything (as an ambivert, there are times I'll rather just be left alone), but I enjoy being around people I love.
You should also know that I LOVEE the colour brown. It is such a warm and soft colour. I feel like it resonates with me, you know? Mostly because I like to think I'm a warm and soft person. I also like black. It 'gives' mystery and enigma. I like a bit of mystery(my favourite genre of novels is mystery).
I am currently in my fourth year in medical school (can't wait to be done though).
I am also a creative. This would mean that I'm good with my hands and mind.
What else? I enjoy a good laugh and I naturally gravitate towards funny, intelligent and good-hearted people.
I am a pretty simple person. From my dressing, to interactions with people, and actions, you can easily tell.
I also love helping people and putting a smile on their faces. It makes me feel so good when I realize I contributed towards making someone's life better. This is one of the reasons I'm here.
I strongly believe in purpose and adding value.
That's pretty much it in a nutshell (cutttttttt! 🎬).
Shout out to my girl @silviafx who introduced me to Hive. I am really psyched to be here, and I am open to learning and unlearning (because I mean, that's what we do everyday, innit?)
I hope to explore and offer value to this community.
As the baby of the house, please show me around. I would really appreciate that. Danke😊🧡....
PS: Pictures used in this post were gotten from my photo gallery

You are welcome @duduu! It is great to see you are doing your first steps! Great work!
Hearing such an Igbo name Adaugo, I was going through the post to see your background but I couldn't see it. Well, good to have you, and I must comment based on your profession yet to be completed as a medical professional that you'll have a big role to play in Hive. It'll be great to see your medical experiences on the platform. Greetings and always be aware of plagiarism both in content and images.
Thank you so much for the tips😊😊 @apunawu
Nice to meet you as well. Looking forward to seeing more of you.
Hello @duduu! This is @traciyork from the @ocd (Original Content Decentralized) curation team. We noticed you shared your first post here on Hive and introduced yourself to the community (and you were totally cool while doing it! lol! )- congratulations and welcome!
Speaking of community, we have many different ones here on the blockchain, devoted to all kinds of interests. Here's a link so you can check them all out - Hive Communities. Based on what you've shared, I think you'll find these interesting to start off with -
Hive Book Club Community
Haveyoubeenhere Community
STEMSocial Community
Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works. For instance, there's a post in the collection called 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive that you might find helpful.
Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog, so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post). For more information, check this post - Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise by hivewatchers.
I'm sure @silviafx will continue to help you as you begin your Hive journey, but if you have any questions, feel free to hop into the OCD Discord server and we'll do our best to answer them, and again welcome to Hive!
Thank you so much @lovesniper
The newbie guide.very important @duduu
Welcome. Thanks for supporting my content, Keep it up. Do what you like and like what you do around here. One thing I have learnt recently is how to use the advanced search option on decency to find what I like reading about here on Hive so I follow content organically.
Surely keeping that in mind.
Thank you @ebingo
Welcome to Hive Dudu. You made me giggle when you said you had to think about your age. At least it's just a few seconds, lol!
